Once the attack fired, Cell was adding more power to it. Do you believe his attack was>>>>solar system busting based off this or are you limiting it to just that?

Cell was just being a blowhard. Here’s why he lied.
Cell give it all he had, Gohan give it all he had plus 1. That’s why he beat Cell.
If Cell’s wave was a true Solar System Buster, it meant for Gohan to have beaten him, Gohan’s wave had to be Solar System plus 1.
After Gohan won the clash, Gohan’s wave had swallowed Cell’s own wave, and push it to space. The chances of that wave not hitting anything and just kept going is slim to none.
Even it the wave hit nothing, the energy itself would have been strong enough that the backlash alone would have destroy anything it passed by.
