LordGod, Gotenks is one of the staple feats. It takes light about a second to circle the globe, and Gotenks did it in about 30 minutes.

This judging by the fact his fusion was almost at an end when he confronted Buu.

Of course, he claimed he took a nap. This could be true, or a boast. And he may have been toying with Piccolo. That doesn't change the fact going around the world several times within 30 minutes is the best we can make from that feat.

Energy flight trails don't last 30mins before they disperse.

I'm not saying they do.

Only that the feat is what it is. Around the world an indeterminate (Looked like about five-six trails to me) number of times within 30 minutes.

Taking it at face value is probably a low ball. But trying to calc it out sans the "nap" and other bs requires a lot of guess work.

In the first place, speedyl is in proportion to power level, isn't it?
You think they are in proportion?

Not at all.

Too much inconsistency for this to be so. The fact is Tien never should have pinned Cell down, if this was the case (Because I know I overuse Master Roshie)

He did it in one panel. Go by that. He took a nap afterwards. Youre making this harder than what it is.

That we saw, yes.

Was he still going? Did he stop after the panel? How long do ki trails even take to disparate? Were those even ki trails, or movement trails ala artistic license to show him going around the world (Since those wouldn't disappear).

How long did that panel take? A second?

Yeah, I read "How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way" like everyone here, and know panels have a general time frame between them. But that's not a hard rule, and I'm not sure if Manga artist observe them.

We dont go by ki trails, lol. Also, we saw when he landed. Again, youre purposely making this much more difficult than what it is. Slowly look at the pages.

Has the speed of Gotenks ever been calced out?

most likely slower than light

Even if it wasn't, remember the comic side has things like Majestros going about 13 light years in the time it takes him to finish a two paragraph internal monologue.

Or Wonder Woman and Superman reaching the sun in a panel or so.

if you can go speed of light you travel around the earth like 7 times per second

they never told us how long it takes gotenks spend circling the earth, my guess is longer than one second

not that it matters but yeah comics has way better speed feats

It depends how you see Wolverine's claws compared to the DD. And if you assume that Wolverine's claws operate at "straight through Gladiator/Thanos" every time, even against Cap [which is where the variance in writers from comics comes into play]

Fake shield. 😛

No way that was the "mystery metal" one, it always deflected Adamantium.

Real shield, actually.

Spoiler:
But it's Earth-14850.

Gotenks said that he circled the earth "a few dozen"(so at least 24) times there, so those are likely just the trails that were still visible after the fact(as mentioned: flight trails dissipate rapidly.)

That was also a SS1 Gotenks who was just playing around -- SS3 Gotenks should be able to do the same thing at least 8x faster(especially if he's serious.)

Either way, I would agree that it's hard to accurately quantify as we don't know exactly how long it took(though the fact that he did so in a single panel indicates that it happened over the course of a few seconds, but I digress.)

And since Gotenks is an Asaiyan... he definitely must be good with math 👆

Yes:

That's also the entire premise of KaioKen multipliers.

If we're taking his statements at face value, Vegeta also said his tail would grow back.

Just saying. 😛

I have a bad feeling that this one and like a dozen of similar super-accounts are actually your socks, Galan.

Mister Master style.

And even if they're not, you're just as guilty, as you've been feeding them that superman nonsense for years... and now they can't believe they've been betrayed by their god who always kept them updated on anything kryptonian vin
