It literally does not matter whose ki Gogeta locked onto. Even IF Whis was aware of the fact that Gogeta was about to teleport to his general location(which was never implied) that doesn't mean Whis automatically gained GPS coordinates that told him the EXACT SPOT that Gogeta was going to materialize in.

Am I not being clear enough here, because you're making this extra difficult.

Right. Angel-level UI reacted to instantaneous movement... what I've been saying this entire time.

Yes, Moro was aware that Goku had 'found' his ki signature. How does that change anything I've said about the mechanics of IT itself?

Whis was simply moving and that Gogeta just decided to teleport right beside him. for the record, Angels are not always using U.I. In fact, it was against SSJC-type Broly where Whis first showed he didn't need to use U.I. He displayed as much as he toyed with his enemy, having simply used normal movements with no real swiftness of his own movement to easily dodge all of Broly's attacks during his assault, even though Broly had tried to take Whis by surprise with a sneak attack.

This info comes from the Light Novel, which details and confirms as much, meaning that, hilariously enough, Broly wasn't even worth U.I., and so it turns out that Whis isn't always using U.I. if he doesn't want to. Which also means he wasn't using U.I. when Gogeta arrived

"The next opponent Broly had chosen was Whis.
So as to take him by surprise, Broly went on a fierce offensive, but Whis was dodging his attacks without difficulty. It wasn't that he was moving swiftly, nor was he using any kind of special technique either. With very normal movements, Whis did not let Broly as much as graze him.
"Over here~!"
With a confident smile, Whis was escaping Broly by fluttering around. Losing his temper, Broly let out a cry as he continued to pursue Whis.
"Oops!”
With lightness that would put Goku and Vegeta's efforts to shame, Whis dodges his roaring punches and sets just enough distance between them to reach out of Broly's range. It's just then that Gogeta appears, planting himself between the two."

They have the raws there too

Ok,how about:

A team of Fantomex, Aquarian, ForgetMeNot, Judomaster, Crimson Avenger, Ambrose Chase Vs DBZ.

Assume the comics team don't affect their teammates inadvertently (so if Fantomex wants to cast an illusion hiding Judomaster, she will be affected, but Aquarian doesn't negate their powers unless tactics call for it).

How far do they get?

Just gonna say:

Most of the people in the Dragon Ball thread are out of their goddamned minds. It's like trying to argue with a tree stump.

The word "retarded" is an insult against retards.

Calling them trolls, implies they're self aware enough to string together sentences to push buttons. I've had better conversations with piece of lint fished out of my belly button. I mean, Charlie Brown could walk into the Vs Dragon Ball thread with Lucy, Linus, and Snoopy, and they'd all hug Charles because he is not as much of a blockhead as the Vs Dragon Ball thread.

Lol... we know why you keep posting Superman and his villains vs DB characters. I see you Albert.

Was it ever explained if Piccolo's magic was like Buu's? Like could Piccolo replicate this scene?

Henka Beam was a unique technique that only Buus have used, afaik.

Totally.

And Piccolo didn't do magic.

How did magic even work? Piccolo created clothes and hourglasses out of nothing, Dabura did the same with swords and spears, and Kaioshin created that block of Katchin Steel. So that spell seems to be the same.

Babadi's magic seemed to be a bit different though.

Was it ever systematized?

Magic was a separate energy. There was a clear distinction between magic and ki powers.

What Piccolo did was some kind of matter manipulation. Maybe transmuting the very air, or maybe creating solid constructs from ki.

Before Goku and Piccolo backstories were changed into them being aliens. Early Piccolo was a demon fyi.

Then why weren't the other Z-fighters doing it?

In fact, the Dragon's wish-granting powers is limited by Kami, and he recreated the moon without the Dragon's help.

If Broly puts his back into it he'll atomize him.

He just needs to be careful not to go full sadist because Doomaday can indeed cut him up bad in close quarters.

How strong would this make Hercule?

Because its a skill. Either learned or racial. Kibit did the same thing making a cube, as did King Kai creating Goku's Kami outfit.

Namek's create the dragon, and their life force animate it, but they've never shown any ability to create wish like effects on their own.

We don't know how Kami fixed the moon, but its most likely he used the Dragon for it, same as anyone else.

Strong enough to KO Zeno.

How does that make it not magic? 😕

Same reason the destructo disc isn't magic.

Dragon Ball has never been ambiguous about what is magic. If Piccolo's clothes beams were magic, someone would have said its magic.

If Captain America came out pulling 4 busses we'd say thats a good feat for him.

Same with ripping the phone books or punching through the metal of the bus.
