Yep and in a way this reminds me of the people who threw a fit over brexit results and wanted a do over. They didn't like the outcome of something so instead of accepting it the only course of action in their minds was to do anything they can to try to negate it.
And of course those tactics are fine so long as they are the ones doing it(it's the same with censorship, they are fine with it as long as others are the ones censored).
And in the end it just comes off like they feel they are owed a "liberal" court. As if it should be a given that they control it.

Let me assist you: Under McConnell, very few judicial appointments were giving the green light, McConnell wanted to keep those spots open for the next President he knew could be a Republican. Similar with what he did regarding Merrick Garland, but this was done many times over for the lower court appointments. This is why Trump is constantly bragging about appointing so many judges, it's because McConnell played dirty in the preceding years.
