Does Joe Biden have Dementia?

He's in a scripted interview reading from a teleprompter and doesn't even appear to realise he made a mistake.
He is out to lunch.

Biden doesn’t have dementia. You don’t have to like him, but you also don’t have to propagate b.s. because you don’t like him. Biden has a severe stuttering issue. Even when you overcome such an issue, it can manifest itself in many ways. In the past people thought you were stupid or simple if you had a stutter. That was not the case then, and Biden having a stutter does not mean he has dementia now.
Be a bigger man and attack his politics, not the person.
My mother had dementia, I think you would have thought a little more about your post if you ever had to experience that situation. If you have experienced that situation, yet still felt it appropriate to write that post, then there’s probably not much more to discuss with you.

Could care less about your mom.
And I've met loads of people with dementia. They remind me of biden now.
“ In people who stutter, the brain regions that are responsible for speech movements are particularly affected.” Two of these areas are the left inferior frontal gyrus (IFG), which processes the planning of speech movements, and the left motor cortex, which controls the actual speech movements.”
Occams razor
How does a political party benefit in an election year positioning a candidate with dementia as their party leader? Especially in an election where sound bites and precense supersede facts or historical performance?

I think he does have dementia and he clearly shows signs of cognitive decline in the last 2-4 years with it accelerating in the last one year.
No bias required. It's just awkwardly painful what the Dems are doing to a perverted old man like Biden. They should have never propped him up.

Maybe a bit. It’s hard to say because he’s always made gaffes and misspoke. He was known for that for a long time.Neither candidate is particularly sharp. I think it’s just as likely Trump has dementia as Biden.
I know you hate to say anything good about Trump because you hate him so much but the undeniable truth is Trump is extremely sharp especially for someone of his age.
Biden , otoh, seems to be entering the early stages of Dementia.
Trump has a psychopathology. In deference to the Goldwater rule (which is not as strictly observed as it used to be, especially with the latest version of the DSM), I won't be so presumptuous as to diagnose him with Narcissistic Personality Disorder. But based on observations over the last four years, you don't have to be a psychologist to note that Trump's intelligence, emotional range and morality are significantly hobbled by the sheer density of his narcissism. The only time information from the real world gets though his reality bubble is when the circumstances are dire, eg, "Mr President, wear a mask, at least some time, or kiss your second term goodbye."
(I love the irony: in order to get the Fearmonger-in-Chief to do the right thing, you have to scare the shik outta him).
It's best to view Biden simply as a wormhole back to our normal universe. Even he knows he's a transitional president. Regardless, in integrity, skillset, and respect for science, Biden is still inarguably superior -- as candidate, as a person -- to that dysfunctional "threat to the Constitution" (thank you, General Mattis).

No, a wormhole back to our normal universe would have been either Tulsi or Bernie. Biden is a wormhole to a universe of racist sexual predators with cognitive decline

Well said. The idea of Biden as a transitional president is an idea I haven't seen expressed and it makes a lot of sense.
Yeah, I agree. The so-called "normality" of things before Trump came along is not something I would ever want to go back to because, quite frankly, it sucked a**.
I'm sure the establishment on both sides wants things "back to normal" as well but that is never gonna happen, thank God; the genie of populism is free and there will never be any putting it back in the bottle again. People have woken up and there's no going back even if Trump is removed from office whether by legal means or illegally.
Even if Trump loses the election which I don't think he will, this populist movement of nationalism isn't going away anytime soon no matter how much anti-USA idiots so desperately wanna get back to "normalcy."
I'm still so grateful to God that Trump came along and haven't regretted supporting him one iota despite how much those on the left try to make me feel guilty for doing it.
