Trumps presiding over the worst economy since the Great Depression, downplayed Covid only to get infected, is stopping economic recovery talks for a new stimulus to after the election, and his covid response is responsible for 200k+ deaths. If he's tanking its on him

^Trump gave us the best economy we've had in a long while before the lockdowns happened. This will not be disputed.

And the deaths are not his fault.

With excessive quotative easements and years of low interests rates from the Fed, yes.

But the QEs were not excessive until recently. It also points to the reason why we should get rid of The Fed.🙂

If you mean socializing the market by dumping in trillions to keep corporations afloat then sure it's the best market. For the millions unemployed its looking like shit

Tell us all again about how Hitler was such a great person, Blakey. 😉
He was a good patriot for his country, improved German economy very well, made people laugh, was strong in supporting his military, did a lot of business deals with Henry Ford, Averall Harriman, Prescott Bush and Samuel Chase, held very high religious morals and respected hostory, was against eating meat or cruelty to animals and he revolutionised German politics and caused very efficient technology with these business deals.

He was very different to Trump.

The "200,000" deaths were not his fault either.

Looks like we are halfway there to recovery:

Based on this trend and the slowing down of the recovery, it will be another 6-10 months before it is back to where it was in Jan 2020.

It's not Trump's fault those people are unemployed. Blame it on the state governors and local mayors that shut down businesses. Trump is not in control of everything.

Of course he was different to Trump. Trump is a freedom-loving American. He is not a Nazi or an authoritarian/totalitarian or a mass murderer, Hitler was.

Nice to see you reaffirming that you love Hitler so much though. 😉

Looking more and more like Trump will utterly fail to take Biden's home state of PA away from him in the election

While Biden could potentially take Trump's home state of FL away.

Edit: moved that to the election thread, my error

If we take the 5% swing from 2016, Biden still wins Penn. That's assuming it goes as it did in 2016, which it won't.

Does this mean Donald wants to repeal ACA in favour of another legislation, he's not against healthcare as well?

He's not. He wants insurance companies to be forced to compete.

But the best option would be a UHC with affordable Medicare for all and Medicare Advantage options. But that's too much like capitalism. The US Government, both Dems and Republicans, won't go for such a deal where big business is forced to compete with each other. That's not how it works in the US.

We'd rather die than have a healthcare system like France or Switzerland.

So you're in favour of that kind of healthcare like in France?

I think a good stepping stone would be to create the public option. Force the insurance companies to compete with a government run option that anyone can buy into if they want. Then we’d see what’s better. Private insurance or government run insurance

Yes, and I've outlined in excruciating detail how the system should operate, multiple times, on KMC.
