Lulz but seriously Biden has done townhalls now where there are the same ppl in multiple events at different locations so it's not like he is literally meeting with new ppl from local areas asking him unique policy questions.

The excuse that "Trump will be COVID-19 positive!" is easily handled by testing before the debate, which they both did last time. So...there's no arguments to be had from the Biden campaign. It's just an excuse from the Biden campaign to get out of it.

The third debate is currently a go I believe.

It's important to remember that the 2nd debate was supposed to be a town hall style debate.

Democrats knew that Biden would've been much more vulnerable to Trump in that style of debate. They haven't forgotten what Trump did to Hillary in their town hall debate.

Covid was a convenient excuse for them to use to insist the debate be virtual which they knew Trump wouldn't agree to.

And before someone says that it was the debate commission and not the Democrats that insisted on a virtual debate both groups want the same thing: Trump out-of-office.

Trump's cough and shaky broken voice should be cleared up by the time the 3rd debate is scheduled, so I can't see Trump making excuses to dodge that one. We'll see though.
