Look, Surfer is shown outside of that Big Bang. The first scan I posted specifically refers to that as a Big Bang. So there it is.

Big Bang wasn't an explosion. It was the expansion of space-time. Surfer is shown on top of the ship. About several feet away from him, is the energy, mass, etc , of the universe that protruded outward radially. You see the empty space between Surfer and everything else going outward.

Most importantly, you are going against writer's intentions.

Now that we agree that surfers’s Big Bang tanking feat is just a fantasy, the outcome still remains unchanged. Superman smashes their heads together for a quick ko.

A Big Bang expands in all directions, so it can't miss someone. The art shows no empty space of several feet nor anytime like it. The writer doesn't intend on there being any space between and clearly intends on Surfer being engulfed in tbe BB on both occasions.

Darksaint and I both posted experts calling the BB an explosion as well as stressing the energy exploding out at light speeds.

Adding to that, Surfer is at the Threshold, which is the point of universal death and rebirth. The universe collapses around him and the new one expands from the point where he is. So he is in the middle of the Big Bang which is how he ends up in the new universe. Otherwise, he would have ended up outside of it.

So he receives the blast point blank.

But here you correctly stated that it was an expansion..

You’re article is from 1998, find something newer.. Google who came up with the Big Bang and why.

The heat converted dark energy to matter but the writer left all this out. Including the dark energy. He showed surfer on galans ship while the universe expanded around him. There were no blasts, explosions or any type of damage. This is a non feat.

No need for all this mental gymnastics.
Writer/artist already depicted a big bang as being catastrophic. Theres no need to get all twisted just to explain how it was not a feat.

Based on your logic, if Superman pushes a planet, I can argue that the planet is portrayed as weighing no more than a couple of tons. Unless otherwise specified, we treat things as they are in real life. The accepted science of the Big Bang is that infinite energy exploded in a light speed expansion of that universe creating energy. So there ya go

So you and your buddies bring up dark energy, 20+ year old scientific articles and if I refute them it’s mental gymnastics. The irony, I thought you were above the likes of carver, Alberto and JBL but I guess I was wrong.

facepalm

Now you are trolling. Stop it.

The panel clearly shows the big bang originating outside the ship a few feet away from Surfer in an outward direction.

The big bang wasn't an explosion. It was the sudden expansion of space time. There was no time or space outside the big bang. Big bang created both time and space.

Nowhere does the panel show Surfer getting hit with anything. He's on the ship where the big bang never came in contact with.

Even if the big bang came in contact with the ship then obviously it did no damage to it. The writer had no intention of that being a durability feat.

How has this reached 11 pages when we have seen Surfer both sense and utilize against Gladiator exactly what he would need to win here?

Surfer wins 8/10

Where has he utilize anything against Gladiator, he said he can do it but that's it.

Superman can literally one shot either if he wanted to.

Based on absolutely nothing, and if you bring that chains feat up i'll torture you on it again. Superman greatest strength feat is destroying a planet with no size whatsoever stated. Surfer created three 3 stars out of thin air while weakened and tanked the big bang. He'd solo the Justice League at this point

Infant stars troll. Even Kyle Rayner can do better than that.

And you wonder why I laugh at you everytime i come on here. Uhhh YEAH no shit, Everything starts from an infant stage, I mean THAT'S what he will call a star He "JUST birthed into being " 😂 🤦‍♂️ 🤦‍♂️ How anybody sees you or diesl as a debater is beyond me

He created 3 stars. One mini and one larger in weakened state.
The third one is full star after he absorbed the life energy from the cosmos
