Alberto, here's the problem. Imagine if you were going to have a race against someone that was millions (Yes millions or more) times faster than you are? Things would start out normally for sure, and dramatically change as the race began.
You and your opponent would hear, On Your Mark, Get set, Go (Bang). If your reactions were the same as your opponents you would react at the same time as them and still lose as you were afforded two to three steps while they'd have already crossed the finish line.
However, it wouldn't make any sense for a guy who was millions or more times faster than you to have your reaction speeds. What would actually happen is that once you've both heard the "Bang" that triggered you to begin running, your opponent would have already been miles into the race before you took a step.
