Well, I just failed No Nut November.

There's always next year.

To be fair, I did say "at least". It comes down to proportionate response.

If she slapped/punched him, it's not always gonna deserve him going all Rocky Balboa on her. Now, if she had a knife, or a bottle, that would be different.

Dude, she wasn't nasty!

I really don't know what you guys expect from mods, when so many of you are so ****ing shitty to each other. You want to the freedom to banter, to give your opinion without fear of being banned for them. And that's fine... when it's not about other posters.

Fairness would be banning half a dozen of you, but then, there would be the usual whining about how it's not fair, when above all else, it would be.

So I don't know.

I'm actually pretty sure I wouldn't get banned in that purge.

Yeah there is no need to beat the shit out of her over a punch, just respond in kind with a single full force punch.

Whether or not the relationship survives it is probably a safe bet she won't ever punch another guy without a valid reason.

Well, that's part of the thing.

When I was young, I could tell you on one hand the amount of fights I got in to. And yet, I knew instinctively that if I ever put my hands on another boy, he was going to ****ing hit me back. And that carries through to adulthood. I know that if I'm going to pick a fight with a guy, that unless I put him down like Mike ****ing Tyson would, I'm going to get hit back.

Girls just don't, for the most part, have that built in "i'm gonna get hit" instinct.

Should people hit each other? I don't believe so. But I also believe that the second you put your hands on someone, you've surrendered your right not to get hit back.

Who knows. We'll see how I feel that day. peaches

I hope pr acknowledges my ex was just give me a hit for showing affection in public which i probs shouldn't have done, because we were in public. My fault. Yet, I wouldn't have hit her back for that, I was like, ok fair enough.

I was taught as a child that men should never hit women regardless of the circumstances.

I don't really believe that anymore though. If a woman slaps me in the face and it stings in the slightest I'd probably immediately hit her back in the heat of the moment without even thinking about it.

Well yeah, every situation is different. I was speaking extremely generally. Wasn't having a go at you or her.

Thanks man.

As a young man, I loved to fight. Be it in the ring, on a rugby pitch or after a few bevs. I was and never have been a bully, but I still "take no shit off nobody", I have spent time in custody for ABH and threatening behaviour in my time, but never on a woman. Rehabilitation of offenders etc, I have no showing convictions now on a standard UK Police check.

That's good that you've turned it around.

I'm lucky that I'm just... I'm not massive, but I'm still just big enough to be considered a "big guy" when compared to the average. That and I keep to myself, so I rarely draw any negative attention.

well, the only thing I got from my grand dad in terms of the traveller lifestyle properly was the boxing thing, he actually knew Tyson Fury's great grandad and I got taken to the boxing gym at 11 by him, he'd taught me at home and with other traveller family members in my teens I did a lot of amateur stuff and some bare knuckle in Kent, round St Mary's cray, at 19 in University i discovered Muay Thai. I went to Thailand at 26 to fight, I cant give too much of my UK Muay Thai details because doxxing through people I know, clubs and titles would be very possible. Problem is when you have fought international fighters and are doing coke, it's a heady combination, whether you have kids or not. At the time I did and getting banged up and away from my eldest two sorted me out.

Unless you grabbed her ass or something it's still not an appropriate reaction. What kind of PDA we talking about? If it's about a hug or kiss or you attempted to put your arm around her? That's ridiculous.

If it wasn't ass grabbing or anything like that the only scenario I can understand is if on that day you were constantly attempting PDA and she kept telling you no over and over before finally hitting you.

Actually no. That's wrong of me.

It's wrong to hit *anyone* unless they hit you first. It's not just women.

100% agree.

So I don't know.

Just ban people who are obviously clearly blatantly in the wrong. It's not that hard if you're a person with a conscience tbh.

I'm not coming at you btw, I think you're a great mod personally.

...So she punched you because she didn't want you to give her a hug in public.

First of all, what is the deal with people not liking PDA? God forbid the person you wake up next to in the morning wants to hold your hand.

I'm not saying have a hot make-out session on a park bench, but holding hands, arm around waist or around neck, a peck on the lips. It's really not a big deal.

Sorry for necro btw.

Oh, and no one should hit anyone, but if a chick punches you she deserves at least a slap back. Anyone who disagrees doesn't believe in equality. Oh yeah, no, they are equal to us, unless they decide to try to absolutely pulverize our face in with their fist, then you should treat them lesser.

I don't believe you should go all-out as if you're fighting a dude, like if she punches you and you hit her with a knock-out punch (AKA as hard as you can) that's a bit messed, no open judgement for it. It depends on the person as well, I can't say I would 100% be able to resist rocking a girl's shit if she hits me first.

But I would try, and only because, an average-sized guy hitting an average-sized girl, both untrained average people, the dude is gonna ****in RUIN her facial structure, the girl may cause mild discomfort for a little while. I've been punched in the face full-force by a female before (tbh though I'd consider them above average-sized for a female, taller and was fairly overweight in all cases), it sucks, but you get over it after like 5-10 minutes.

I know there are a ton of variables that go into that like what angle the punch is thrown, etc, but 10/10 the dude is objectively going to do more damage if they throw the exact same punch.
