I'm getting the funny feeling that with no preview still in sight for this, all these attempts at "news" recapping what we already know about a decade old game trilogy is just made to distract from how buggy it might get on launch or something because holy **** we're a month & ten days away before it reaches shelves. Show gameplay already.

Why does it matter? Just wait to buy after people get their hands on it. You should be doing that anyways.And...even if they show gameplay, it doesn't mean its not buggy at launch anyways.
To not even have gameplay with thousands of fans still salivating shows the problem with hyper consumerism.

I don't think they changed engines....so I wouldn't think there would major issues (assuming there wasn't any on the original PC ports)...
That I can recall, games like DA and ME ran fine, though there were some CPU issues with certain models.
The likelihood is that you're probably right. The game will probably run fine. I'm still wary though. Too many times have I thought to myself "they won't **** it up" only to be proven wrong.
Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

Agreed. And the remasters will probably look like utter shit anyways, knowing EA.
I don't know. You would think upscaling alone isn't that hard.

New features article today:
No, probably not but this is a bit more than an upscaling. They are changing some gameplay systems to make it more similar in all three titles.
And...there is a bit of work to get these games working on newer consoles. Mass Effect games are available as BC titles for MS...but it's emulation....so they would definitely have to modify the game to work natively on Xbox One...And I believe a lot more work to get PS3 versions to work natively on PS4. The newer consoles like Series X and PS5 are going to work because of BC compatibility

It does look like they've improved the graphics a fair bit in terms of rendering ability, but there are definitely parts that really don't look that much better than a modded pc version. The character models and creator do look much better though.
The gameplay changes, vast as they are, seem like a net positive, so I'm allowing myself to be cautiously optimistic.

Well...it's not complete remake. It looks good. The lightening looks good...it seems to run a good framerate and the gameplay elements look better than the previous games. It's also good that they have made each game roughly the same now...
Not sure I completely agree with that last part, but I'll see how it goes for me personally.
I do hope it has proper mod support though. If it did, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Looks good. Gonna be cautiously optimistic myself.
I will say the weather @0:51 definitely looks better in the original.
The Legendary Edition's gone gold now.
