Dr Doom vs Hal Jordan

honestly I don’t even think fear is THE deciding factor to not obtaining a ring. From what I’ve read the will to get over fear is what MAKES a green lantern.

Almost like that's what the ring says when selecting someone.......

And yet doom has always conquered what could be considered ‘fear’ guy fights Mephisto every 10 years. he had his will power sapped but stlil got up and stabbed Kang in the throat like everything was ok. In regards to will power doom could very much wield a ring.

Doom has shown great amount of will power in virtually everything he does. He has shown doubt as all green lanterns have at some point, but over comes it.
EVEN with his will power challenged he has still come out on top.

AND doubt and fear are different. Fear implies you’re too scared to try, but you might do anyway. Doubt implies there’s a chance something is wrong with what you’re doing. Two different aspects

There's nothing that disputes Doom wielding a ring. "fear" isnt good for the core yet Kyles always scared

My stance is pretty straightforward, Dr Doom would be able to obtain a GL ring.

And you literally said that fear would be an issue. But the scans I’ve just shown proves that fear has never been the issue. Doom does not succumb to fear. So therefore he would be suited for the ring

In FF when Doom wished for his memories from the cosmic cube, I theorize that this event is also the reason Doom remembered the retconned event. Because the wish didn't just give Doom back his missing memories from before the secret Wars, it gives him back all memories that go missing. This is why he still remembered the retconned event.

Doom lost the powers of the beyonder because he was incomplete. during the secret wars the beyonder was unable to find doom so he pulled/was sent by a future beyonder into the secret wars with no memory of how he got there.

At the time doom has to transfer his mind into a bystander then later summoned the beyonder to recreate his body. and the beyonder was like WTF I remember you! and Doom was like dude you are on crack we never met. anyway doom got sent back to in time to the secret wars without his memory because an issue with time being destroyed if doom died.

Later Doom got ahold of a cosmic cube (molecule man and beyonder) and asked for his memories back.

I'm saying that this act not only gave Doom back his memories but also prevents him from losing memories in a way.

So the retcon wouldn't be a true retcon since Doom retains memories of the event then the event in a way still exists.
