He doesnt HAVE to kill them just because he beats them.
I mean hes fighting stormtroopers but for some reason Inquisitors are beneath him? That makes little sense.
And if he really is that rusty he needs to start somewhere. Having his first duel in 10 years against Vader probably wasnt the best place to start.
Edit : Also why not murder one? Canon doesnt seem to be an issue given they supposedly murdered the Grand Inquisitor already.

I mean, they had Leia in an Imperial facility. I don't know if Inquisitors have to fill out any paperwork, but Vader must know that Obi-Wan was there to rescue someone, and I'm sure he'd want to know who, if he doesn't already know.

I don't mean kill, necessarily. Just that he should beat them so badly that any argument about them being a threat to him would be completely nullified.
Grand Inquisitor will come back, I'm sure.

Weve not really had that in live action. Ahsoka gave two of them a beat down in Rebels. Would like to see something like that in Live Action.

Im guessing shes not sharing everything so she keeps getting credit for drawing him out.
Otherwise even the Empire knowing of her helping Rebels (let alone Kenobi) this early would also be breaking canon. In Rebels the Imperials think shes on their side. So much so that they are getting blamed for Rebels repeatedly “stealing” her ships.

You think Vader wouldn't want to know exactly who they had there that would make Kenobi come out of hiding? I find that absurd. Vader is obsessed with him, he would want to know everything.
The Grand Inquisitor's death should tell you exactly how much they care about Rebels and canon.

I agree its stupid, I just mean technically we dont know what shes told him. Unless theres some dialogue im not remembering.
Ultimately they have to respect Rebels canon. Given the Ahsoka series is a direct sequel to Rebels. And the Maul cameo in Solo would make no sense without TCW and Rebels.
So like Pr said, the GI will be back.

I think you're giving them too much credit. If the sequels proved anything, it's that Disney has no grand plan for Star Wars. They just throw shit at the wall to see what sticks.

Well, the Rey mind wipe would have explained why she was so adept in the Force and why she could beat Kylo Ren despite knowing about the Force for only a few hours, so of course they didn't do it. I wouldn't be surprised if Kenobi mind wipes Leia or some shit to protect her, though that still doesn't explain why the Empire isn't knocking on Bail's door immediately after.
