I'm just relieved that I don't really care how biden is doing- I just know he isn't going to make fun of a handicapped reporter today, and honestly, that's enough.

"But biden's budget, and his politics, and his blah blah blah..."

Yeah, but did he make fun of a womans looks today? No, ok, cool, I can keep not caring.

That's a bad take, Biden is doing a lot of awful things right now, both at the border as well as in ramping up war spending, and many other ways. He needs to be vehemently opposed.

I'm sure you have some sort of explanation, but just wondering, how are you explaining the video where Trump is mocking Serge Kovaleski in a very clear way mimicking his disability from arthrogryposis?
I believe the standard rebuttal is that he was calling out the person not the disability and simply made the movements to show who Trump was talking about.

It's a stupid stance because the whole thing was childish and soon as he acted the person's disability he crossed a line.

From what I remember, a video rebuttal claimed Trumps gestures were just Trumps normal hand gestures, and were nothing like the disability. Showed a bunch of clips supporting it.

There were similarities in the clips, but seemed less... exaggerated though.

There is no doubt that he was duplicating the mannerisms of the reporter that are caused by their disability.

Not going to lie this video is pretty dumb.

The first part where it tries to pretend the media was trying to cover it's track is so circular in logic it's maddening. Oh look this one articles mentions people may have been detained by law enforcement for celebrating the attack.

That proves the media lying and trying to misrepresent Trump as a liar. We not going to see if there were any follow up articles that proved this happen or not.

They only showed two other videos with Trump and arm movements. One was slowed down and he barely moved his arms at all.

The other one he doesn't seem to make the same arm curling motion that we saw in the other video. It's also very telling that we can't really find others ones.

This is poor fact checking and I'm not surprised it originated with a group that literally has 4Trump in it's name.

It's actually pathetic that people are years later still trying to excuse Trump's mocking of a disabled reporter instead of just calling out the poor behavior.

Like even if you want to somehow pretend he makes these types of gestures to others that still would be stupid behavior.

Trump moving his arms like that is not common for him, we've had four years of him in the spotlight as POTUS, if it where common, we'd have seen a lot more of it. It's Trumpers gaslighting to defend the indefensible.

Bongo!

Really stupid to pretend Trump wasn't mocking that reporter. But it's your loss, and idgaf what you think about it.

It’s you gaslighting true leftists such as myself. You’re honestly a point of tyranny and lunacy. Go kill yourself.

^ I thought Biden was going to start wars, not end them?

That said ill be suprised if this actually goes through on time. Very nicely surprised.

"Biden will withdraw all U.S. forces from Afghanistan by Sept. 11, 2021" -snip

Good. I suspect the Right will now condemn troop withdrawals.

They're already claiming America's military is "weak", which is odd, since it was "the strongest it's ever been" when Trump was in office and that was only 3 months ago.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cnn.com/cnn/politics/live-news/biden-afghanistan-announcement/index.html

Echoing an earlier statement issued by the Alliance, Stoltenberg said: “We’re sending a very clear message to the Taliban: if they start to attack us we will retaliate and answer in a very forceful way.”

Odd statement. What does withdrawing troops have to do with retaliation against the Taliban?

Retaliate how? By drone strikes? Bombs? And be glad no American troops are caught in it after withdrawing them?

By letting Afghani's deal with it? Let them take all the risks?

Or maybe we'd need to send the troops back in if it was collaborative, defeating the purpose of a withdrawl. But that is a seperate thing from claiming our withdrawl is sending a message to them..
