The trend is that the Stock Market goes up, financial crashes aside, but those are temporary.

Last four:

Clinton: 1993-2001 = 6,100 to 16,500

Bush Jr: 2001-2009 = 16,500 to 8,700 (Financial crisis of 2007-2008)

Obama: 2009-2017 = 8,700 to 21,500

Trump: 2017-2021 = 21,500 to 30,100
