Feds Indict 3 Trump Scam PAC Operators
For the last five years or more, Matt Tunstall has used the name and likeness of Donald Trump and other politicians to ostensibly raise money for a network of political action committees. But he has been accused of pocketing most of the money himself, and on Wednesday, his so-called scam PAC operation finally caught up to him.
In an indictment unsealed on Wednesday, federal prosecutors charged Tunstall and Robert Reyes with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and to lie to the Federal Election Committee.
They allege that of the roughly $3.5 million raised by the PACs they ran during the 2016 election, "only approximately $19 were distributed to any candidate's authorized campaign committee or to any political cause, while a total of more than $1.5 million was used to benefit" the PAC operators themselves.
"There's nothing we can do to stop them," Kelly Sadler, a spokesperson for Trump's America First super PAC, said in 2019 about scam PACs. "This is a problem for the campaign, as well as us, as well as for the RNC."
Tunstall has managed to build a lavish life in Los Angeles off of funds from the pro-Trump PACs, living under the pseudonym "Matte Nox," while driving a Porsche Panamera and showing off designer clothing on his social media accounts.
The Justice Department said that the two PACs linked to Mr. Tunstall had spent heavily to recruit small donors under false and misleading pretenses, including through robocalls that impersonated Donald Trump.
The indictment, which also includes Robert Reyes Jr., 38, of Hollister, California and Kyle George Davies, 29, of Austin, Texas accused the operatives of defrauding donors through two entities, Liberty Action Group and the Progressive Priorities Political Action Committee.
If convicted on all counts, Mr. Tunstall and Mr. Reyes face a maximum of 125 years in prison, and Mr. Davies faces 65 years.
28% of GOP Voters Think Trump Will Be Reinstated This Year

It has been more than four months since it was first reported that Trump was telling confidants that he believed he would be reinstated to the presidency in August, reporting that was later confirmed by other outlets—and fed by delusions floated by Trump allies like MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell and attorney Sidney Powell. But according to a new poll from YouGov, a not-insignificant chunk of Republicans still think it is "likely" that Trump will be reinstated this year. Respondents to the poll were asked, "How likely or unlikely do you think it is that Donald Trump will be re-instated as President before the end of 2021?" Among Republicans, 22-percent said it is either "very likely" (11%) or "somewhat likely" (11%) that Trump will be reinstated.
The number of Republicans who believe that Donald Trump will be "reinstated" to the presidency this year has actually gone up by a third since last month—even as the end of the year draws closer.
Respondents to the poll were asked, "How likely or unlikely do you think it is that Donald Trump will be re-instated as President before the end of 2021?”
Among Republicans, 28-percent said it is either "very likely" (13%) or "somewhat likely" (15%).
This reminds me- how much longer do you figure before the judges start ruling in Dominion's many many lawsuits? 1.3 billion against Powell and Guilliani, and 1.6 billion against Fox, right? They also are suing One America news, and Newsmax. It'll be a good day when they have to admit they lied as a part of any settlement.
Just been a very long time coming.

They are obsessed. Hence, why a full-third of them believe he will be reinstated before the end of the year. It should be disconcerting to anyone with a functioning brain that a not-insignificant portion of the Republican party are completely delusional, and live in an alternate realtiy.
So much for freedom of religion being a right in the USA, if Michael Flynn has his way. 🤪

Seems like every time one of their predictions of Trump being reinstated comes and goes, they just dig themselves deeper into their delusions.

"If we are going to have one nation under God, which we must, we have to have one religion. One nation under God, and one religion under God," said Flynn, who recently talked about his Christian faith in an effort to refute QAnon claims that he worships Satan. -snip
