Isn't it interesting how he says that we suck at debating, yet he's the one that has been trying to pass off his opinion as the "writer's intent"

IOW, you just admitted to lying when you claimed AM was swimming per writer's intent.
I think you need to learn the definition of lie.
Its still slightly unclear why the writer had AM paddling. Even the supervisor was guessing on AMs powers (using words like maybe and such).
I accepted the propulsion theory. But there still is a little doubt.
Unless you want to chalk it up to fiction inconsistency.

Yup. He proved something that anyone with a decent pair of eyes and some common sense could have easily figured out. Sorry H1, most of us just aren't that practiced at trying to prove stuff to a moron. Not easy to prove something that's pretty common sense you know?Anyway, now that that's settled I guess we can all agree that Abom takes Aquaman to town.
AM paddles, especially on the submarine feat. Why?
Human peddles a bike and coasts.
Ergo AM was coasting after paddling.
It makes perfect sense. The propulsion theory makes absolutely no sense when it comes down to it. To even prove that theory is to show AM speeding up without paddling. Otherwise, pure speculation.
So you guys are the morons.

AM uses propulsion, especially on the submarine feat. Why?
Human peddles a bike but can walk with it if going very slow.
Ergo AM can paddle if he wants to go slow then uses propulsion for swimming at speed.
It makes perfect sense. The paddling and coasting theory makes absolutely no sense when it comes down to it. To even prove that theory would need to show AM continuously paddling at super speed. Otherwise, pure speculation.
So you H1 are the moron.

But he was using so called propulsion at speeds slower than the speeds of paddling. Therefore the made up theory that he uses paddling for slow speeds and propulsion for high speeds is wrong.
Therefore, the only logical conclusion is that he uses paddling for momentum generation.
The problem is that i didn't have to prove the paddling theory since it was claimed propulsion. Therefore, the onus is on the one who made that claim.

Prove it. Provide a clip please.
The scene Silent posted where AM was slowly moving through the water before his confrontation against Steppenwolf.
Then look at the scene where he was paddling as a child with Nuidis Vulko. Both were shown moving faster (definitely not slower). Also look at the guard as he uses propulsion (wasnt shown paddling) as he approaches Steppenwolf. He is going extremely slow.

The guy in charge of all of it, who has full blessings from the writers and producers to get it done confirmed Atlanteans have a propulsion system powered by hydrokinesis(same power he uses to stop the flood and make a water shield)and they basically "fly" underwater. So like everyone who isn't H1 said, and H1 once again is talking out of his a*s.It's John Des Jardin. He's the VFX Supervisor for Justice League, and especially on the Snyder Cut. He fully explains how he had conversations with Zack and the writing team about how the powers worked so they could visualize them.
The scene in question starts at about 10 minutes. Then we get a full breakdown of Aquaman's abilities. Seems pretty open and shut. Atlanteans clearly have a propulsion system, we see it happening on screen, JD talks about the hydrokinetic propulsion and how they fly underwater. So if they're not using it, it's because they don't feel like it or don't have to in that instance. It's extremely simple, H1. You're wrong. You don't get much more "writer's intent" than the VFX Supervisor and Writer collaborating on the finished product so they powers can look how they want them to and how they think they should work.

Should have known H1 was going to lie again. Nowhere there is the guard using propulsion. He's just drifting forward. Even I can do that.
