How strong is Hercules really by comparison.........

It's basically no argument against Hulk holding back or not since he got much stronger after his fight against Jugs.
WWH was already operating at his angriest(and therefore strongest) levels up to that point -- his ability to mentally snap in times of duress and become stronger still(ie. WBH) doesn't change this.

Point being: the most powerful Hulk we had ever seen at the time was apparently unable to incapacitate Juggernaut, like he incapacitated so many others... and there is really no reason to think that Hulk would have been intentionally holding back the strength he had access to(at the time) against an opponent like Juggy.

...Unless, of course, you're suggesting that Hulk would've needed to enter 'World-Breaker-mode' to definitively overpower Juggernaut? In which case... Okay?

You've known Carver since 2006.

Last issue of WWH was released in 2007.

So, you have spent 14 years of your life trying to explain the basics of a Hulk story arc to a black man with a Barbie-like make-up posting cute ducklips selfies on instagram.

And he will forget your post in five minutes.

Congratulations, Galan.

...

Congratulations, all of CBvF? 🙁

carver's sheer beauty is the only reason I am willing to excuse ~two decades of ignorance.

You guys are too much. 😆😆😆😆😆

Carver's saving grace is how pretty he is.

That interview didn't cement anything, lmao.
Since when after the number of times you quote the opinions of Greg Pak on the Hulk to support your arguments on the Hulk? Are you ready to throw that out of the window now?

It wasn't Greg Pak. He only wrote the core series and TIH.

WWH/X-Men was written by Christos Gage.

Not that carver would know, lol.

I only mentioned Pak because Carver have mentioned his take on Hulk a couple of times.

Yeah, Carver has no problems using writer's statements when it suits him.

And half the arguments he used here he debated the exact opposite in other threads, lmao.

I dont know what you all are talking about

Except for the fact that he said said that he was holding back the entire time. You can't ignore context whenever you want to. Bruce held back when he faced Cain. In order for him to have put him down, he would have had to increase his power to levels that would have killed many innocents. This isn't something that is hard to understand.

You realize he had no control over WBH power levels, yes?

And he hasn't even discovered them during that time. Required to suffer a nervous breakdown at the end of the series and transform.

As for his WWH power, he was using most of it, that's how everyone noticed he was superior to SH... he was just holding back not to kill - same as every superhero in the whole damn superhero genre does.

So Juggernaut was going all out and Hulk was holding back. Gotcha

Juggernaut actually listened to Xavier at the end and got distracted, so he held back more.

Hulk can't do shit to Juggernaut, other than landing one lucky blow - he got sodomized during the encounter.

Juggernaut listening at the end of the fight means he held back?

Worrying about crushing Xavier beneath the collapsing building, yeah, I'd call that a handicap.

You don't remember quoting Pak as explaining 'that it's not that the other heroes in the MU are weaker than they were, but it is Hulks strength that has increased many times over the years'.......quote and unquote........?

Cain's history shows us he's always felt conflicted and trying to find his own way.

The hero part of him, X-Men/Excalibur, was still there, despite embracing Cyttorak again.

How do we know that?

He could've very damn well wrecked the mansion and finish the job Hulk started. Instead, he chose to leave and didn't harm a soul - other than beating the living shit out of Banner, of course.
