Just think about the message this sends to the people who're thinking about coming here the right way (waiting in line going thru the legal process). It makes them think "Why the hell am I going to all this trouble when I can just sneak across border, get caught on purpose, and democrats will grant me amnesty automatically and even pay me $450,000!?".

The government wants to have it both ways is the problem

It costs about 800 dollars just for the end game of citizenship. And much more for the entire process leading up to it, you can find the list of fees, it easily adds up to thousands.

But they also want cheap labor willing to work way more then regulatory hours, who won't unionize, nor demand anything or ever go to the government for assistance.

In other words, they want to fleece suckers while keeping slave labor.

This is why the Dems are not serious about open borders and never will be. And this is why "sanctuary cities".

That's not how this works. Their rights have to be violated first (eg like having their children taken away and lost), then they can sue and maybe settle for some money.
