I'm not really religious.

If someone hits me, I will run. If they chase me and sling a skateboard at me and point a gun at me, I'll assume the worse.

Really, the UK way of doing things puts an undue burdon on the attacked. While you're judging what is appropriate responses, the other person can easily slip an unnoticed knife between your ribs. Or fire a concealed gun.

Sympathy is wasted on people who chose to attack Rittenhouse. All he did was defend himself.
