COVID was mostly scare mongering bollocks. Yeah, there was a deadly flu, but the over insistence of masks were unnecessary.

A doctor pre-vaccine literally said "We want you to feel you can protect your family" about anti-covid measures.

Took that to mean managing panic was the priority, and effectiveness a secondary.

The doctor I was referencing was promoting cloth masks. He probably knew it wasn't particularly effective, but reasoned people want to be pro active, and it couldn't hurt.

Think ive had enough with 3 jabs and having caught Omicron.

blakemore and cdtm are wrong, in that Covid was deadly serious. Massive excess death count from it.

But I do feel between Omicron and Vaccines that theres plenty of immunity now to make it a more regular disease threat.

I get the Flu vaccine every year, really don't see why I wouldn't get the Covid one too, as Covid didn't magically just go away as some claimed.

Fair enough. We dont get flu jabs every year unless particularly vulnerable.

Once a year for Covid would be okay for the long term though. Just that last jab was a killer, so between that and catching Omicron, I feel im good for a while.

Btw, how long have the anti-vaxxers been protesting against your yearly flu-jabs?
