Sunak resigned though, forcing Boris out, Liz never did.

That said that move has made Sunak unpopular with the Tory members, so looks like you'll get your wish and get "Help the Rich" Liz.

Do the Tories hold similar "trickle down" nonsense views as an excuse as to why they're giving the already ultra wealthy more wealth?

Generally yeah. Liz Truss certainly does.

Although Sunak to his credit plans to increase corporation tax. And hes also given help to lower income families to help pay their increased energy bills.

And no im not a Sunak or Tory supporter, hes just the better choice out of these two IMO.

Truss would get destroyed by Labour in the next GE for sure.

And before that she was international trade secretary...for Boris Johnson.
Well, yeah. They have jobs. You're really stretching here..

Ooh, I'd love to see that.

Either a Truss victory over Labour or a Sunak defeat. Either way, I get to tell you you were wrong.

Yeah I'm really stretching that one of Boris Johnson's senior cabinet ministers isn't really a big step away from Boris Johnson.

OK then...

Well, even Badenoch had a job under him and that wasn't good enough experience wise.

I mean, I've read your posts by now. You just want Labour, assuming that'll be any different or more competent...

Did I say Sunak will beat Truss or am I missing something here ?

Have you seen Truss trying to debate though? Starmer will beat her.

If I wanted Labour I'd have voted Labour at some point in the last 25 years. I never have though.

It's about experience. It's about idiots thinking a Truss government or a Sunak government would somehow be any different to a Johnson government. When even Michael Gove says that parts of the state don't even function anymore how much more plainly obvious is it that these people were part of the most useless and inept government in the country's history? Which obviously includes Truss and Sunak who had senior cabinet positions including 2 of the great offices of state.

Yeah, I think Truss may well be a continuation of Boris' government... I welcome it.

When did you get all up into Boris' ass again, Blake?

You honestly think, that after all he scandals, Truss can come in, cut taxes for big corporations, borrow more money to do it, and that in 2 years that will somehow get her a win over a guy who can clearly speak and debate better than her and whose reputation hasn't been tainted (yet)?

(Note you'll know from my previous comments that I hate Starmer with a passion, and would love for him to get booted out as Labour leader with a humiliating defeat).

So I'm just being Objective here.

He'll be back.

Jaden 👆 Top notch!

Blake and DT, sorry guys on this you get durpalm

She's got Boris' backing. Liz'll be okay and Starmer losing to her would just be humiliating all round. 😂

Yeah, I get it. Liz isn't charismatic. It's probably going to be funnier that way. haermm

Whirly Ive yet to hear any good rebuttal to my criticisms of Starmer.

All Jaden said was Tories have proven more scandalous, which I will grant because thats just fact.

But that doesnt change Starmer being a total prick at best, and an evil shit at worst.

Voting him in would be supporting the booting out of JC and everything he stood for.

Jesus Christ?
