Many of have complained how biased some CBR writers are for certain characters, this may be the craziest one of all with the One Above All listed at number 8, discuss.
I suppose I can take my discussion with Galan to this thread. There”s a very short list of characters who I think can actually take Dr. Manhattan, but here”s a list of characters I think can be argued to be above or on par with Manhattan:
-TOAA (definitely above)
-PR Beyonder
-PR MM/Current MM after absorbing Beyonders (assuming Owen can actually wield the power)
- Living Tribunal
- God Emperor Doom
- Oblivion
I think you can probably make a pretty good argument for any of these characters being > or = Manhattan.

I”m devils advocating for Marvel based on the largely DC-biased/favorable opinions around here, despite the reasoning often being shaky at best. Personally, I have Manhattan above all of the beings I listed sans TOAA and perhaps PR Beyonder (and maybe, maaaaaaybe PR MM, but that”s a bit of a longer shot), but my reasoning is probably different from most of the people here.
The fact you think there”s no legitimate possibility of there being an argument for GED > Manhattan kind of illustrates this lack of in-depth examination when it comes to Marvel cosmics.
