Fake accounts posting about the U.S. presidential election are proliferating on the social media platform X, according to a social media analysis company's report.

Analysts from tech company Cyabra, which uses a subset of artificial intelligence called machine learning to identify fake accounts, found that 15% of X accounts praising Donald Trump and criticizing President Joe Biden are fake.

The review included analyzing popular hashtags and determining sentiment in terms of whether posts are positive, negative, or neutral. The analysis shows that newly detected fake accounts had increased up to tenfold during March and April.

Oh Elon...

I missed the bird logo where we would tweet like birds.

X is so emotionless and sounds like something a Twilight Zone/X files fan would come up with.

Ugh. Elon's promotion of "Free speech" apparently includes freedom to manipulate democracy with fake social media accounts. His understanding of free speech is very... progressive. 🙄

😘 puke

Lmao..

😂

...

Trump's offered Musk an "advisory role" in the White House should be win. Trump's selling spots again.

😂

Unfortunately he's too wealthy to ever really go broke. Even if he loses 99% of his wealth by being himself, he's still wealthy. He's an extreme failson.

His name alone gets people to mass-invest even in his clearly stupid ideas. eg paying 44billion for Twitter, when it was worth maybe half that and then dry buttf*cking it into a shadow of its former self, but it's still valued at 10ish billion.

He's outright endorsed Trump now for 2024.

He was always going to endorse Trump, Trump policies make him wealthier.

It certainly seemed obvious he was going to vote Republican, but an outright Trump endorsement is something else.

But true about a Trump win making Elon richer, even though he claims he always voted Dems in the past.

The shooting just speed up the timeline of the endorsement. Back in May both Trump and Musk had a discussion on Musk serving as a direct advisor to Trump's White House, which just means Trump polices that will make Musk wealthier at the expense of others, while Trump gets a kickback. Though I suspect these two egomaniacs trying to work together won't end well.

Mush is now talking about a "Red Wave" for 2024, when in 2022 he encouraged people to always vote in manner that kept one party from having complete control. Was always a show.

If you've been to Timbuktu, he's been to Timbukthree. If you've been to Tenerife, he's been to Elevenerife

"Elon Musk reportedly plans to give $45m a month to pro-Trump Super Pac" - The Guardian

The amount of high millionaires and billionaires flocking to Trump is impressive, but not surprising, he did tell them he was going to cut their taxes even more. It's on video.

If Trump wins, good bye US middle-class, been profusely bleeding since Reagan, this will create an even greater division of wealth.

it's about buying divisiveness. the tax breaks are just a bonus. because the oligarchy is at war with the middle class. we just haven't been told, is all.
