I did, but help me to understand what I may have missed. My first thoughts when I read that particular comic was that although that was Darkseid, it wasn’t him on the same levels that he was on when Superman had fought and defeated him. However, I don’t see her showing as some way of dragging Superman down, she’d probably beat this team as well. Gladiator, Count Nefaria, and Hyperion are either inexperienced fighters or in Gladiator’s case, can not predict how hard he’s going to be hit, and finds himself ass up most of the time.
What’s really funny about Superman is that he can dial his power levels down so far that he can literally appear to be in different power tiers , so in his appearances while not amplified, he can be range as low as mid meta, to as high as High Trans when he fully allows himself to let go.
His powers are so immense, that when he does sun dip, he’d be able to rock high cosmic characters. We see this when he hits the World Forger who has the power to create multiverses.

The end of the page that Carver linked says:
While nobody won in this encounter, it’s apparent that Darkseid wasn’t even going all out.
Anyway, I found that funny considering the topic he argues.

@Stoic... that was FULL powered Darkseid. Read the issue
But Wonder Woman is a deity. If you put Wonder Woman up against Anni-Hulk, who do you think would win? Using Wonder Woman as a benchmark to use as proof against Superman is riddled with errors. She’d probably beat this team as well. I say probably because using the lasso on the Sentry may be the worst thing that she could do. Or, it may be able to calm him down. The rest of them would be beaten by her crazy experience as a fighter coupled by gear that could kill them.
The lasso’s effect on the Sentry has been a mysterious thought in my mind for a while though. Anyway, she may even accidentally release some very dark corner of Bob’s mind that becomes manifest in the flesh. Who knows?
Darkseid wasn’t really trying. The fight was much like the one that Gamora had with Thanos. She kept Darkseid back through martial arts prowess. Did you notice that she couldn’t keep him down?

I've been posting cropped images here for at least ten years. But since you apparently crop your images in MS Paint I thought I'd explain to you how to get around that.I'll read it when I get the time.
Some people are able to; some aren't.

With the other thread I don't have to do that because I'm just asking for the motivation behind an interpretation.
@Stoic...
He was at full power. Yes, he lost his powers again AFTER this but he gained all of his power back after absorbing Zeus...

Also, he was holding back against Diana. Everyone mentions that because Diana wrecked him and Darkseid was boasting but he does that against Superman (hell, everyone) as well.

Could Gladiator do all of that with his current track record? Would you feel safe to stand by Gladiator doing better against Darkseid than he did against Anni-Hulk?

How many times are you going to lie in a single thread?
Carver, that team would be destroyed. You already know for a fact that Hyperion and Count Nefaria wouldn’t be included in a battle that Superman is using all of his speed within an atmosphere, and the Sentry wouldn’t be fast enough to stop Superman from removing Gladiator from play by hitting him as many times as he could before a second passed, and even if Gladiator tried to fight back, one punch would put him in the same shape that Anni did.
Within the next second, Superman beats Count Nefaria and Hyperion before they are able to understand how they were being attack.
Sentry is as I mentioned is extremely susceptible to manipulation. Look at how Tony Stark used him. Look at the way that Norman used him. Look at the way that the Hulk was able to calm him down once he had expended everything that this particular version of the Sentry threw at him.
It only hurts until you realize that Superman has the experience and track record to take a decent majority of 8/10.
