It is a human, it is living, it isn't murder because it isn't aware of it's existence. A human fetus is not conscious and has no idea that it is alive. It is also dependant on the mother for life, so there is no option for her to simply have it removed. But a human is a species, a fetus is a stage of development that a human goes through, just as infant, toddler, and adolescent are. Nobody is going to budge on their stance anyway, so this is basically pointless. But I figured I'd post it for anyone who does care about the facts.

Strange isn't it? The law along with society decide what's legal and what's not. I said it a 1,000 times that the death penalty is for punishment of a murderer. And I'll stand by that. Abortion should be use under certain circumstances. If not, it will be misused and people would only use it as the only alternative to an unwanted pregnancy.

The death penalty isn't always for punishment of a murder because the system isn't perfect and innocent people are put to death. That means that the death penalty isn't justified with the "eye for an eye" justice until it is absolutely perfect and no innocent people are sent to death row.

So I am guessing that you don't argee with the death penalty but you still think abortion is fine?When you abort you are kiling an innocent baby how is that not the same as killing innocent people by the chair?JM

We been throught this countless times. The law changes YES that's true. Until it changes we have to follow it! The law says you murder a person you go to jail. If you kill again you get EXECUTED. When the state and the law system executes a derange murderer is NOT murder! Until this system changes it nothing can be done. If you want to go on talking about the death penalty bump the old thread. Why derailed this "Abortion" with "Capital Punishment"? Besides my comments were for Cinemaddticion!

Abortion isn't only an American issue jackie. It's been around since the ancient Egyptians in fact. Then in 1869 the Roman Catholic Church prohibited abortion under any circumstances.
