You see though.. that logic is flawed. If every time I had a responsibility I could just "not want any part in it" and wouldn't be forced to deal with it, my life would be pretty cool. But the lives of others around me wouldn't because then they'd have to clean up the mess I made with my own irresponsibility. If I was caught speeding and given a ticket, and decided I wanted nothing to do with that ticket does that exempt me from paying it even though my own actions cause me to get it in the first place? Well it's the same thing. If a guy gets a girl pregnant and decides he doesn't want anything to do with the kid, he can just walk out and never give her a dime? He can just leave her stranded left to deal with their consequences by herself? No. If I don't want a speeding ticket I'll be careful not to speed. If I don't want a child I'll be careful not to impregnate a girl. But once I make either one of those mistakes, it's my responsibility to deal with it.
