people say they've had sex twice. It's true. But those people might have done the same with2 others. It's a chain. So get married, and have sex with a wife or husband. Have kids. End of story. That way there's no risk.... unless your spouse was born with something 😖

I prefer to sleep with men, that way I only run the risk of catching the gay plauge that god invented to destroy my kind. I've even had sex more than twice, with more than two people. Maybe I don't have AIDS because god likes me...oh!...wait! He couldn't possibly!

safe sex is never safe. theres no garuntee. so wait til you're married.

simple.

that's the most retarded post I ever read, and I made some pretty dumb ones already
y'know, pre-marital sex is as old as the oldest profession in the world: prostitution. Juding from your believes that makes it 6000 to much much older. There is still the problem that if you don't wanna get kids and do safe sex to achieve this 'objective' you can still get pregnant ... or when you are married, the woman can still get raped

DS... but I voted for Kodos 😛

NOTE: may be not nice.

i've made pics of foetuses, we have some at uni.

1. it is very blurry, and sorry for that. and normally it looks much more 'real' i mean even the tiny cells are reminding in the shape the human being.

i think it explains why i'm against.

2. almost fully viable foetus

so what clovie, this is not a human....you know apes look the same

it is a to be-human
and there is a monkey-foetus too, but i haven't taken a pic of it 😖

Yeah that's nice but it's still not factually a human at time of abortion.

What about if abortions were made illegal after, say, the first 3 months of pregnancy? My apologies if this has been discussed before but I really can't be bothered to go back and look.

it has 😛

and as said; clovie, we're talking about a bunch of cells not when they are already foetus with a beating heart

but this bunch of cells will become a human, and not the tree 😑

and a bunch of certain cells also become a cancer, weak point

My opinion on ABORTION> As long as both the Mother and Father consent, then it is their business, and their business only. 😉
However, if one pressures the other so as to make the Mother do it....then it is wrong, because one of the parents was willing to look after the child after birth.....
Also> People should really stop judging people who have abortions. In a perfect world, their would be a good place - not an Orphanage or through CAS - where young/old/whatever mothers/fathers/parents could take their kids to be looked after by a loving family. Don't say, "What about foster parents....", because I think the whole fostering system is ****ed.....but unfortunately, the people who b!tch and condemn the people who do abort are the same people who would turn them away if the parents came to you looking for some sort of help.....😉

So if the dad doesn't want the mom to get an abortion, you think she should have to give birth to it? Sorta throws the whole "woman's right to choose what she does with her body" right out the window.

Well....perhaps.
Perhaps a compromise could somehow be made, to show the mother that in that case, abortion was the immoral thing to do.

But that defeats the entire point of the woman having the right to choose. If she has to get consent from the father, she doesn't have the right to choose. What exactly is the difference between the dad telling her she's not allow to get an abortion or the government telling her she's not allowed to get an abortion? Sure one's on a more personal level, but it is still taking away her rights either way. Unfortunately for the father, he has absolutely no say in the matter of whether or not she is to get an abortion. Not beyond telling her what he thinks she should do, anyway.

my $0.02:

Safe, Legal, Rare.

Most women who undergo the procedure of abortion do not simply brush it off as they would a chipped nail or smudged makeup. The decision is still made to end a pregnancy. I'm not disavowing the fact that a fetus is "alive," but there's a distinction between, say, a vegetative state and normality, though in both situations, there is a heartbeat, there is respiration.

However, a policy of "Abstinence and only abstinence" simply will not work. Our hormones get the best of us very often. Hence, we need to educate adolescents. Should they choose to have sex, they should be prepared with the knowledge of measures to take to ensure their health and that they will not have an unwanted pregnancy. It's appropriate, in my judgement, to at least offer such education to adolescents, tell them that although abstinence offers a 100% chance of preventing unwanted pregnancies, should they choose not to be abstinent, there are preventative measures.

If abortion is made illegal, we'll still have women terminating their pregnancies. However, would one prefer a coathanger in a bathtub, or a sterile operating table? An MD or some back-alley quack?

Coathanger and bathtub......just sounds horrid.

^ It's a depressing thought that some women will have no choice but to resort to such methods if the actual safe practice by doctors is made illegal.

Abortion should be made internationally legal, because sometimes it's better for a potential parent not to have a child.

Abortion is like a sort of "fail-safe" for women. Sure, there are plenty of reasons we know of not to have a child... severe infirmities, ectopic, breech, stillbirth, etc, but there are countless reasons that we haven't thought of yet.

I agree, it should be made internationally legal. There was some UN legislation in the works, centering around women's health and rights, but SURPRISE, the US pulled out of talks when a portion was introduced that guaranteed abortion rights to all women.
