Abortion

My opinion on this always confuses people quite a bit. I am pro choice, bu I, personally, am pro-life.

Let me explain a bit more clearly. I think every woman has the right to choose, but I personally, would not have an abortion.

Although, never having been faced with the situation, I can't really say for certain what I would do

Hell? That's rather harsh.

Makes perfect sense to me -- you can believe that women should have the choice yet not want to have one yourself. Personally I feel that shows a lot of open-mindedness -- though it's not what you personally believe, you accept that others think differently and think they should have the right to choose.

And I must ask....how do YOU know what an aborted baby would say or think?

You don't. That argument holds no water whatsoever.

NO....ask the baby in its mother womb....IF IT COULD SPEAK.

Yeah, but you said "I believe do what you want with your life UNLESS if hurts someone else.....That includes babies....If they could speak...they'd tell you so." But how do you know that a fetus would say that? You don't. Even if it could speak you still don't know that.

.

OK...then I guess you're right, they'd say OK...just tear mean limb from limb...I'm OK with that.

i agree with debbiejo....why would they want to be killed?

Abortion is wrong. It kills life, and people
stop being responsible for their actions. If you can have sex, then you should be willing to have children too.

Everyone knows that it might happen so their a no reason why they should get an abortion.

Only thing i can think of is if someone was raped, but its still wrong. Does not make it right.

but just because you believe it is wrong does not make it wrong... 😬

So you think it's wrong, but still, how does that give you the right to tell someone else what they can and cannot do?

So killing something is not wrong???

But its not killing to everyone...

Of course it's not.

Not absolutely.

Then again, it all depends on how highly you value life and humans. I don't value life or humans high to be honest. Why? Because I value our planet and the great things in it, and humans have trashed nearly all of it.

True Humans trashed the planet, but it still does not make it right to give a life up.

It may not be killing to some, but if you know that having sex there is a chance of being pregnant... then you decide once it happens you don't want it, and kill it.

It's wrong. You know it could happen, and when it does you just kill it.

There is nothing right about it.

Not to you vaya, to other people it isnt the same...

saying its wrong is no more true than me saying homosexuality is wrong... its all perspective...

Why? Simple question. Why not?

That would be her choice and nothing to do with you, agreed. Next.

Well then don't do it.

You made the choice to dislike abortion and therefore, never have one. Great. Rock and roll your little altruistic heart out.

Why do you have to force that onto everyone else though? Because you openly acknowledge that it might not be killing to some. Thereby acknowledging that referring to it as killing is mere opinion, since it can be only that way to some.

*Tosses scarf over shoulder*

And dats de endda that chapter.

Exactly.

What IS wrong is trying to force the beliefs of a few on everyone and now allowing them to have a choice. You can believe what you want. But you have no right to condemn someone for believing differently.
