Bacteria is not a life, it does not have a life. Cells do not have lives. Claiming "life" begins at conception is an abuse of words, because it doesn't. The path to life begins at conception.

Technically, a bacterium is alive. Viruses are not though--they are simply genetic material surrounded by protein and they lack organelles.

Alive and having a life are different because to label them the same is to say that a bacteria is in possession of what a human possesses.

Conception is the beginning of the path to life, the path to life of course ending in child birth.

All you people saying a fetus is alive are wrong. There is NO scientific consensus as to when a fetus is alive or "a life" as some of you like to call it.

Yet again, I have to see all these "pro-life" people whining about "I believe it's alive and abortion is wrong so THERE!." All the while, they avoid the fact that it is none of their business.

It doesn't matter when a fetus is alive. Organic, replicating matter is not the issue. The issue is a womans right to decide the fate of her own life. While I do think the fathers involvment should be considered, the woman has a right to decline the involvment of her own body in producing another life....be it a situation like Aliens, a virus, or a human baby.

So, IMO, as soon as all the needed forms are signed, kill it. Vacuum it out and send it off to decompose just like a weed pulled out of a garden.

Or, is the garden part the issue? Baby Jesus and the garden of Eden and all?
