To an "extent"? Ya know, he did help make the baby.

That is precisely why I said "to an extent." He had a hand in making it but he does not use his body as a living environment, nourish the baby, or actually go through the pain of giving birth to the baby. Ultimately, it is still the woman's decision.

You won't get far explaining women's rights to Bullets.

Yah, and she is the one who will have to carry it for 9 months, in HER body and go through agony of birth.

If he wanted children then he shuld make them with someone who wants his children.

If I didnt want man's child, i would NOT have it - he has 0 say in it. If he wants some say in it, then he should carefuly choose where he puts it!

I haven't gotten too far explaining women's rights to most people in the thread. Even some women are having a difficult time understanding their own rights. It is kind of sad actually.....that they might procreate.

You could have ended the post here. Women go through the pain. It's their choice.

I felt strongly about this, so i had to elaborate further, giving example.

Woah....that is such Bullshit..I agree it is not practical to have a law allowing a man to have a say in it...but it is his possible child just as well as hers....it's not fair...necessary but not fair.

The situation is not fair; two parties created the baby but only one has the responsibility of being its host for nine months.

So since it's unfair already lets make it even more so......

......In the butt?

It had to be done.

On the flipside, only one has the responsibility of LISTENING to the whining and bitching of said host.

No, what would be unfair is sharing the choice when they do not share the responsibility.

If he sticks around.

Oh I see, so the man has no responsibility? That'S alright...if it's that way lets make it all like that though. Why should the man pay for it then? It's not a half way deal...either the Husband hasresponsibilty (coming with certain rights) or he doesn't....all other is just feminism gone too far (again)

Since the woman carries the baby, it is her responsiblity to make the man use protection. The guy doesn't have to be careful about where he 'puts it' the woman has to be responsible and tell the man she doesn't want a baby, and for him to use protection. Getting pregnant has nothing to do with the man, 99% of the time.

And only one has the responsiblity to prevent that pregnancy.

I agree, it's just too stupid for any witty or sarcastic comment....

Yes he does have a say in it. Otherswise, try keeping your ankles less than 5 feet apart, so your wishywashy decision making doesn't abort a potentially beautiful life.

Or a potentially loathsome one. What is your point?

Funny..I agree with you.

*ahem*...Her and the father created "it". Unless she's the Virgin Mary or the mother of Anakin Skywalker, there was a second party involved.

"It takes two to tango."- general saying

It should also take more than one person to decide to abort a life.

In the U.S., 12 people must unanimously decide to put someone to death in order for it to happen--I think the same august body should decide whether or not a baby should be born and have the gift of life or end up in a trash can due to irresponsible "parents".
