It should also take more than one person to decide to abort a life.

In the U.S., 12 people must unanimously decide to put someone to death in order for it to happen--I think the same august body should decide whether or not a baby should be born and have the gift of life or end up in a trash can due to irresponsible "parents".

b) There is a difference between an already living independent Human being and a fetus.

c) Only the mother should have a say in it...it is her that has to take most of the consequences...of course there can be a case made for the father, but it's not practical....sad, but true.

Why should the choice be shared when the responsibility is not? If you had to play host to another organism for nine months, you would probably feel differently.

I think the rights are shared though, if I remember right. Fathers do have a say, don't they in court?

Not only are you saying women should HAVE to give birth to rape conceived pregnancy based on stupid logic I've already cracked, but trivialising the pregnancy stages by saying it's all good cravings and getting fat.

On that same token I can reverse it---say the woman is the one who wants the kid but the man doesn't. In that case he is always involuntarily pinned with child support. Where's the fairness in that?--There ain't none.

Child support is a bullshit law that should be erased from the books. Instead of giving half his paycheck to the woman, he should be able to be out of her and his unwanted kids life for good. I aint sayin' the kid should be aborted--the woman should support the child herself cuz she's the one who wanted the kid.

Agree wit the first part...that's basically my arguement...

Disagree on the second....The Father obviously has an obligation towards his child...it might need some workig over, but the basic idea is very fair....
