I would chose my girlfriend too. But abortion, for whatever the reason, isn't a decision to take lightly, no matter what the circumstances. The woman may need counselling afterwards, if she does, it should be available to her. 🙂

Now, besides your whole post being an attempt to look like the most altruistic person while still putting your own life first that was not the setting at all now was it. In the question at hand it is your life or the life of the Baby. The Baby will survive if you áccept death at child birth. What will it be? Your life or the life of the unborn child that deserves a chance at life. That is also already important to people...

So, you could say that I am perhaps pro choice, within reason. Would that make you and AC stop calling me a hypocrite? Many of my pro life friends are not against all abortion. They believe all abortion is wrong, but they still support it, depending on the reason for it.

I said they support it, depending on the circumstances. The circumstances are rape, medical defect, or if the mother will die without the abortion. Other than that, they don't support it. If you asked every pro lifer out there, many would say they'd support abortion in these circumstances. It doesn't make them hypocrites.

That's not really pro-life. It's just a dislike of frivolous abortions.

Well, I have always seen myself as pro life because I do believe that all abortion is wrong, just that in some instances, I can understand why the woman would want, and need, to have one.
