I'm not really pro-life...I think that life begins at birth, and the potential for life does not outweigh a woman's right to choose. But no, the foetus is not human from the start. It may be alive, but so is sperm if you determine "life" by the scientific sense (ie, viable cells that reproduce). The definition of "human being" seems to vary (it has 46 chromosomes, it breathes, there's a heartbeat, etc.) but again, I think a person begins existence after birth. I think Ush is saying that since everyone thinks that you should not kill human beings, everyone is pro-life.
