well adopting a child is more than just feeding it and clothing it. babies do cost money no matter what and some people arent financially stable enough to support one. alot of people do apply to adopt kids but dont get approved because they dont make enough money each year. its sad but true. ive known a few christian woman who got together and started an orphanage in seattle, tell me thats not going beyond the call of duty....

Exactly. Which is why people sometimes have abortions, you know, that act you don't like. You just ended your own argument.
Don't make women have them if you aren't going to personally take steps to adopt a kid. When you adopt the baby that you force the female to give birth to, you'll have weight behind your argument.

Exactly. Which is why it's better to abort a foetus that won't be loved and won't be taken care of to the best ability, than birth it and have it end up in an orphanage. This all takes money.
I think you're done here. Your argument is "Some people can't adopt because they can't take care of it." Inability to raise and take care of a baby is exactly why some women have abortions, because believe it or not, child birth is a remarkably agonising physical experience. Some females don't want to go through all that for nothing.

in my opinion the price to pay in childbirth is what comes to a woman who is irresponsible with her body. they know the risk is there but they dont care, and then when they DO get pregnant they say: "oh shit! what do i do now!?!? well, at least i can have an abortion." it gives kids a reason to justify their actions, when honestly its about fuking time that kids nowadays take fuking responsibility for their own damn actions and mistakes. if you are for having multiple partners in sex than you will view it differently obviously, because sex is just a handshake to some people, but to me it is reserved for someone i really care about. abortion not only kills off a frickin fetus, but gives kids a reason to be irresponsible with their bodies. which, honestly makes me sick.

Wait, why do you assume they don't care about the risk? Accepting the risk and not caring about it are two different things. Many people accept the risk and take precautions, not all of us human beings with emotions, desires and feelings wish to become abstinent. You want to? Do it. I don't, and neither do many other people. We're not telling you to go out and f*ck, so don't tell anyone else how to live their lives.

It takes more than a few years to raise a child. You're talking 18 years at the least.
And as I said a post up...there is nothing irresponsible about having sex if you use protection. But nothing is 100% foolproof. Not all women who have abortions are teenagers having unprotected sex. Did you ever realize that even grown, married women have abortions because they do not want a child at that point in their life? Women who are raped have abortions because they do not want to raise the child of the man who raped her?

True, morals should not be the deciding factor in this kind of case for the woman...her needs should come first.
But part of this thread's purpose is for people to explain thier stance, and WHY they think this. There should be no problem when addressing morals in this case.

im not telling anyone how to live their lives. this isnt the Catholic Church, and im not the Pope. im just a man with morals, and you are to, but different ones. for me i dont like to subject woman to the risk they might be numb to from all of the sex around them, im not calling them stupid or dumb, but it does happen despite all of the education that schools throw at them. and with abortion it just gives tham all the more reason not to care. i dont want to be held accountable for her pain unless i can be there to pay the price with her and i can take RESPONSIBILITY for the choice i made, and not just throw all the burdon on the woman. THATS why its smart to wait until marriage.
