true......I don't usually hold it against the franchise unless the same writer/directors work on all of the movies..........which never happens. Different people come in to make a new sequel and don't care about stepping on the toes of those who came before them and made the previous 5 sequels.........they want to change things around a bit.
From what I've read online so far, it appears as though they are taking Jason back to the part 6 and 7 incarnation.........whereas he is a zombie........this is really just an extention of the original version anyway as when he was killed as a man they didn't ignore the storyline, they just found a way to bring him back to life as a zombie.
Anybode hear exactly when this story is supposed to take place? Like between which installments of which movies? It's irrelevant on Freddy's end since in New Nightmare they tell us that they must keep making movies to keep "freddy" trapped inside so he can't get free into the real world.........what about Jason? I assume ofcourse this takes place before Jason X but is it before or after Jason Goes to Hell.......I'm assuming after but havn't heard anything concrete on the subject.

If you ask me..... which I know noone has but ****k it too bad, I think Freddy is a ****in punk bottom line! This movie shoulda been Michael vs Jason without a ****in doubt. A horror movie serial killer shouldnt be making ****in jokes and wisecracks while hes killing, all it does is lame up the whole effect of being a horror movie.

Actually it makes it even better because it captures your attention more. He makes twisted jokes that show just how demented he is. As far as Micheal vs Jason that would be so lame, who wants to see two people who don't talk battle each other, how would it even be possible to give a story to such a thing.
I think, if you think Freddy's a punk apparently you have seen all of one of his movies, if that. At least true horror buffs still give some credit to him and not try an take all his glory. I can't believe you are going to sit here and make such comments, reflects poorly on you man if you ask me.

Klear eyez, Im not saying you have to fear his movies or anything but I guarentee that if he was in your face you would be scared. Like I said that fact that he can make a joke out of your death is morbid and wrong. Give the man some credit for that. It annoys me that someone chasing you while breathing heavily (Mike or Jason) is scarier than someone randomly popping out anywhere you run, mutilating himself, and torturing you (Freddy) before he kills you. I just don't get it.
Ha, wake up. If waking up was that simple people wouldn't have been killed n the first place. Fall asleep, then have yourself wake up when you want to. Without the use of an alarm clock or anything else. Its' not exactly easy.
Of course, not falling asleep may be easier, but that only lasts for so long. Suddenly my insomnia from my earlier years seem like a blessing 😛
