billy has been called a sm equal in strength. And hasn't he been shown to match clark in strength in a fight? I had the impression that he did. If so, a fight without magic involved could still go either way could it not? Was it kingdom come that showed them as equal in raw strengtyh but billy was faster? Maybe there is other post crisis fight i'm missing. I don't know if there is any fight from new 52 and onwards where billy was shown as equal to sm in raw strength, but i would like to know other people's opinion and learn more about this. Which is why i included post crisis, new 52 and rebirth.

In my opinion, if Superman fought Billy like he fought Doomsday, this isn’t a fight that would last much longer than an eclipsed Superman vs Lobo.

He rarely ever does, but Superman is different than the other heroes. The very plot is wrapped around him saving the day. Shazam just doesn’t represent DC the way that Superman does.
