The BBC one is based on Mediazona data too. I wonder why they are so different?
Yeah, I think Russia's antics of lying and misdirection and the fog of war means we'll likely never know the true Russian body count until Putin dies or someone takes him out and the truth comes out.

If Ukraine joined NATO today, then NATO would have to declare war on Russia and no one wants that war, even a short one, you Putin loving dingus.
Tell that to the Ukrainians who lost their family, homes, and children.
Intervention on humanitarian grounds is a just war.
I mean this is purely geopolitical, if Ukraine was a Nato member we'd step in. If Russia attacked another NATO member we all step in.
The reality is a system that ignores human rights violations is a bad system. If you can't intervene to stop an invading armada from grabbing land and murdering civilians, because of bureaucracy, then human rights mean nothing.

In the name of saving millions you would destroy civilization and kill billions. Good job you colossal waste of air.
If that logic held then NATO membership would not matter. If you can stop Russia if they attack a NATO member, you can stop Russia from attacking Ukriane.
But the main point is as I've been saying; NATO membership should not matter if Russia unjustly attacks someone. The excuse that we can't induct Ukraine because we don't want to join their fight is just that, an excuse.
If you agree to attack Russia if they attack NATO members, you already committed to wprld war 3. To refuse to do so if Russia attacks non NATO members is nonsense. NATO itself is nonsense, why should we need agreements like this? If someone goes rogue, act! If people are victimized, protect tbem!
Lord Lucian is disgusting for pretending he gives one whit about human life, I hope he isn't a leftist pretending to care because I respect humanitarians enough to get angry at such hypocrisy.
Ukraine wins G7 security pledges but its NATO membership remains elusive
VILNIUS, Lithuania (AP) — Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy welcomed fresh pledges of weapons and ammunition to fight Russia’s invasion along with longer-term security commitments from the West on Wednesday even as he expressed disappointment over the lack of a clear path for his country to join NATO as the alliance wrapped up its annual summit. -Snip
Maybe the war/mass murder of Ukrainian civilians might be determined by the 2024 US election. If (when) Biden wins again, Putin will realize the money/weapons will keep flowing and declare a Russia victory wile withdrawing troops. If Biden loses, Putin just has to wait until early 2025 for the US support to dry up by whichever Republican president.
Unless Ukraine can continue without US support?
