The Souls games on the other hand are action role-playing games. They might not be to your taste, but the comparison doesn't really make much sense.

It's an RPG that pretends to be an action hack and slash. The combat mechanics are clunky and the gameplay is tedious. Skyrim is a million times more fun..
Witcher is a billion times more. Dragons Dogman is in another dimension.

Soulsbournes are to gaming as Michael Bay movies are to cinema, wildly popular with unwashed masses who lack taste or refinement. Filthy people wallowing in their own filth like farm animals, that is what I see in Soulsbourne fans.

Just picked up the speed ball in my new Metroid Prime run, determined to finally beat most of my collection. Maybe I'll get a new console after that.

Noticing a lot of little details this time around, like how there's a heat effect after firing off a volley on the arm cannon, or the way the water comes off the face plate and you can see Samus's reflection for a second. I read the Wii remaster ommited some effects, which is a shame because all the small touches are what make this so amazing. A literal work of art.
