If we did an exotic powers count between the two of these characters, the Surfer makes Orion nearly look like a one trick pony.

But, if the Parademons on that story gave the Surfer a hard time,how badly would they maul Orion who the Surfer bullied?
The problem with many forums is that people will remember poor showings for one while glorifying the other.
Full capacity under their normal optimum state is what people should argue. Orion may never get the chance to even touch a guy that can remain intangible.

The titanium box was an example of looking at a characters lowest showings instead of looking at their highest. This forum has been arguing full capacity for years, both characters deserve to be mentioned at their best, or should we ignore Superman at his best, and concentrate on the one shot that Godzilla gave him recently?

I know you're trying to bait, but that's a poor example. It's non canon to Superman, non canon to Godzilla, and Godzilla's breath has Kryptonite characteristics.
In any case, to give you wriggle room - since people want to go full capacity (which I agree with) then Orion enters the fray being bigger than Galactus.

You do realise Lightray has something similar speed wise, right?
And Mother Boxes are fast too. I suggest you do a bit of research on them. They can travel through time, make their user intangible, give them telepathy, absorb energy, redirect energy, create forcefields, etc etc.

Its more likely that Mother Box drains Surfer completely, one mother box literally drained Oan power battery entirely, Surfer is nothing compared to that.
