I think he understands the difference but the over all outcome is the same. Feats are feats, what the writers do, the intent or number of different writers is beyond our control. We can only really argue about what is put down on the paper.

How TF would Superman know he's being written down when he is a fictional character? You have some writers that write Superman as benching earth weight, and then you have things like THIS. The difference is HUGE in power levels...

I think abhi is saying the fictional characters aren't different just because different writers handle them - Morrison's Superman is canonically the same Superman as Waid's, as Bendis' etc.
Not to say low showings like yours doesn't exist (although just want to point out that that feat is easily in excess of Class 100).

@ABHI...
The only way you'll understand it is if it's Superman because you have a couple of cells loose up there. We can limit Superman here to just city level if we are looking at visuals. Remember, this also DEPLETED him of his power. No planets destroyed, just a forest, lol. The guy he was fighting who Buu would piss on, body was still intact. So this is either forest level, OR we know it's much more than that based off the character that is doing it. Let's see how smart you are...
I think Abhi's argument is a "Watsonian vs Doylist" thing
Ie using entirely out-of-universe reasons to give a preferable view to power scaling in one medium is Doylist reasoning. But the forum tends to emphasize a Watsonian approach to comparing characters. If you asked a Superman reader whether he changed power levels between different writers, they would agree, but if you asked Batman, he would just think Superman is Superman on any given week.

That excuse for DBZ characters is long past its expiration.

Right! The thing here is, we actually have a starting point for DB characters and have proof that they tend to grow exponentially via training. He's asking us to prove a more powerful character is more powerful than their weaker counterparts based off collateral damage. It's like asking if Rebirth Superman is more powerful than Superman before New 52 even though before Superman fts are just better. If we looked primarily at fts of strength, prior Superman fts piss all over Rebirth, but we know who's the strongest.

I'll take a forest over a small crater lol.
Of course you would. Because you're a troll. I'm glad to see you admitting Superman is forest level in power though and that Hulk would rip his wind pipe out. All you're doing is helping me. 🤣

Pretty much. And yes Watson/Doylist was what I had in my head

So Goku tosses him out of the planet lol.

Just one example out of many such examples.

Do they say it's attack potency/concentration in the manga?

Then it's really no different than me arguing for twenty pages about 'Classic' Kingpin, when in Marvel there's no such thing.

Anyway as usual you don't have any thing other than this BS.
