A Nightmare On Elm Street Trivia

no........will's "power" is magic...........he recants the spell from his Dungeons and Dragons game.......he even wears a cape. Him being able to walk is not his dream power. He state's that "in my dreams, I can walk...my legs are strong".............this means it isn't his new "dream power"....he can ALWAYS walk in his dreams.......he could walk in his dreams before he ever met the Kristen or Nancy...........something he could already do before he ever met the rest of the "dream warriors" can not possibly count as his new dream power.

Me thinks that with a name like "ElmStreetChick" you need to pay a little bit closer attention to the movies 😉

and what do you mean "traditionally"..........I was posting in this thread before you even became a member here. I don't like asking questions......I like answering them..........

The Unknown - unfair question. The dvd hasn't been released yet so we don't know. We can only answer questions taken from the actual movies. Anything else is purely speculation............for all we know so far since we havn't seen it on a dvd yet, the og ending you speak of could have simply been made up and leaked out to throw fans off.

another note to go along with Will's dream power..........he actually goes by the name of "The Wizard Master" in his dream........ok, I guess this isn't a reference to his magical powers in his dreams.

So I'm guessing you don't know the answer.

According to Freddy vs. Jason, what allows Freddy to be able to enter a person's dreams?

The person's fear of Freddy?

The Unknown..........there is no real answer to your "og ending" question...........all there is is speculation, what somebody on the net said was the original ending or a published script that wasn't used for the movie (there are atleast 4 seperate scripts for the movie that weren't used......all 4 had different endings, going all the way back to the script from '95)..............if you somehow have some sort of secret footage that nobody else has seen, please enlighten us and tell us exactly where you saw this footage at. ..........or admit that you really have no clue and you are just going by rumor or by one of the previous 4+ unused scripts for the movie.

Evil Dead, so in other words, you don't know.

And ElmStreetChick, your answer is close, but not correct.

~Oh, my mistake, his hand turns into Freddy's, I don't think knives grow out of his fingers, and Robert Englund revealed the original ending, so don't get mad because you don't know the answer.~

Hahaha

Are you talking about the DELETED love scene between Will and Lori? If so the answer is Will. Just so you know........this wasn't the "original end" of the movie. Just a scene they took out.............

HAHAHAHA my god I hope that's not what you were talking about.

That is the correct answer, but it was the "original ending", Freddy was still alive or she was just having a nightmare, instead of Jason winning. That's kind of what an alternate ending is, if you didn't know...
And why do you have to be a jerk to everyone?

That indeed was a dream sequence that was taken out of the movie.......Lori was dreaming that she was in bed with Will.......Will starts turning into Freddy.........they cut it out, it wasn't the last scene in the movie........the scene was actually supposed to be placed a good 15+ minutes before the end of the movie.............

an alternate ending would be like Army of Darkness..........where the entire last scene is different. ........the movie actually ends differently. Even if they had left that scene in, the movie would have still ended with the Freddy/Jason fight and Jason emerging from Crystal Lake with Freddy's head........and Freddy looking at the camera, laughing and winking at us.........

I'm not a jerk to everyone.......just people who act like they know alot but are wrong on their facts.........you asked what the original ending was.........well, I doubt you yourself even know. There have been 4 scripts that I know of for Freddy v/s Jason, probably more......all were different, Englund kept turning them down.........so how are we supposed to know which original ending you were talking about? There were atleast 4 written...............then we come to find out that you weren't even describing an alternate ending, merely a dream sequence that was taken out of the movie.........

It's kind of like Elmstreetchick's question....................I answered it properly the first time, but then she said I was wrong..........turns out she wasn't as up to her knowledge on the series as she thought she was because she was wrong. Gee....in his dreams Will wears a cape......chants spells.....shoots magic bolts from his fingertips while saying ,"in the name of Lorich prince of elves demon be gone" and even says "I'm the Wizard Master".....but she never realized that his dream power was magic.

Same here.......you asked a question.....I answered it properly by saying that nobody knows what the alternate ending was because the dvd hasn't been released, neither has the footage of this alternate ending so how are we supposed to have seen it. You replied saying that I must just not know about it.........which is preposterous, I know everything about everything when it comes to the Nightmare series.........turns out you were talking about a dream sequence cut from the film, not an alternate ending.........you were merely mistaken or confused...........or you got your information from an unreliable source.......I don't hold it against you............It's one thing to be wrong....that's okay, time to be a jerk arises however when a person is wrong.......then refuses to admit it and say "my bad" and move on.....

does it really matter waht the original ending is? i'd suggest you guys move on, because no on is ever going to know what it was.

OK, Evil Dead, I'm sorry. I was just using information stated by Robert Englund in the interview, which was:
"One thing you'll see that I know of, because I haven't worked on my segment yet, one thing you can look forward to is one of the original endings that we shot with Jason Ritter. He's our reluctant hero. You'll see him with Monica Keena during their first time (nudge, nudge, wink, wink) and he starts to wiggle and you see his hand turn into a familiar shape. We decided not to use that ending because some test audiences thought there would be a "Son of Freddy" movie."

If you don't mind, can you ask a question?

PS, there's a new question in the Matrix Trivia.

~Also, Evil Dead, when you said that Will's power was magic, ElmStreetChick replied that you missed ONE with Will, she didn't say that you got it wrong.~

I don't like asking questions........last question I asked, nobody answered it.........I had to give the answer myself, look back a few pages. I think it was to name atleast 10 characters that played in more than one Elm St. movie............

This is why I hate asking questions. It's either going to be really easy because there are so many fans in here that have seen all the movies hundreds of times each.......or it's going to be one you have to think about making it hard and nobody answers it......either way, no fun.

I don't mean to jump into someone's forum and get into other's business but...

Evil Dead, give it a rest and quit whining.

...and just to clarify on behalf of ElmStreetChick, you are right about will saying "In my dreams, I can walk, my legs are strong" but YOU are WRONG to say that because he states "In my dreams" it means past and he has always walked in his dreams. If you knew the movie, you would know that the very next line is "In my dreams, I'm the Dungeonmaster" and when you quote taryn you missed a very important part of the quote, let me complete it for you. "In my dreams, I'm beautiful .....and bad" Yes, thats right Evil Dead, "IN MY DREAMS"
So were you wrong about will power to walk or were you wrong about wills power of magic and Taryn being beautiful and bad? because obviously if "in my dreams" means past dream, he was always the dungeon master and she was always beautiful and bad. That's all I have to say about that, no hard feelings.

Since I'm here, and this is a trivia forum, I will throw my question in before leaving:

What short lived T.V. sitcom featured 3 stars who also appeared in the NOES series?

is it Just the Ten of Us?

Very impressive.

Yay! We got this thread back on track! Thank's Soonie!

What major difference sets NOES 2 apart from the other's in the series?
