A Nightmare On Elm Street Trivia

it sucks.

No problem, if hadn't been for you and your question, I would of passed it right by. I was searching for something completly different when I found this forum and just stopped to read a few questions.

Very good backfire, but not what I'm looking for, but it may be the reason it sucks!

Freddy wants to come into the real world, but in the others, he doesn't want to.

That is certainly along the right lines. Think abut the dream world and does and does not go on there.

Freddy doesn't come after people in their dreams, he either uses Jesse or just affects the real world.

I should prob. just give up what I'm looking for because I may be wrong, it have years since I'v seen it. But if I remember right, the only person that dies in the dream world is his coach... not even a child. All the kids that die are outside the dream world.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't think his coach was dreaming, but I might be wrong, too. Anyways, here's my question from earlier:

According to Freddy vs. Jason, what allows Freddy to be able to enter a person's dreams?

Wasn't that answered? The knowledge and fear of him.

Correct, the knowledge. Someone previously answered their fear, which isn't correct.

Your right Unknown, the coach was not dreaming but Jesse was (Sleepwalking). So technical, did anyone die in a dream?

Anyway I guess I had better come up with another one.

What ultimately ruined the NOES series? (sorry, can't think of a real question right now)

Dream Child?

Not which movie, it is something that was added to the movies starting with a certain one, one of the best, and then just went overboard and ruined the series.

People entering each other's dreams? (There could be many answers, this is just your opinion)

humor ruined the series...........one liners.........began in Dream Warriors then went overboard from there.

What major difference sets NOES 2 apart from the other's in the series?

The reason why NOES 2 is so different is because it was written and produced by someone else hence the reason why the story line clashed with the others in the series not because freddy tryed to get out of the dream world.

Actually.........if you pay close attention to the movies, the storyline to part 2 doesn't clash.

In part 3 we see Phillip sleepwalking through the hospital on his way to commit suicide under Freddy's control.......he could have just as easily been killing people while sleepwalking under Freddy's control.

In Freddy v/s Jason........the Jason Mewes wannabe stoner kid passes out.........Freddy takes control of the sleeping kids body and stabs Jason with the needles full of tranquilizers..........how is this any different than Freddy taking control of Jesse's body and stabbing people with Freddy's glove that Jesse found in the basement of his house? 'tis not.

.....

um I can say that since WES CRAVEN himself stated he wanted no part in NOES 2 BECAUSE the whole freddy taking control over the good guys body and making him kill wasnt somethin he wanted to do.
Why are you bringing up other incidents from the other movies that bear no resemblence the situation in 2. Also dont insult my intrelligence and explain which movie is which with what scene, I know every NOES by heart.

and i didnt mean it clashed completely i just meant that the whole taking complete control over the kids body and killing while he was awake is different.

can't we just stick with trivia?
