What would be the worst thing they could do to screw up ROTK??

i've heard that he cut out the scouraging of the shire.. for times sake and kills off saramum and wrima early on in the movie.. from the official trailers, i think they're leaving in the shealob's lair bit and the visit to isengard after the batttle for helms deep
