I think its ANakin and Padme all the way. What makes Anakin fall in love with her is obvious. he grew up as a slave with no love and compassion from other men or women. Then along came Padme , beautiful girl with greta heart who actually cared about him. Showed him the kind of love and compassion he needed. He didnt forget that. ANakin alway FELT that he'd be with her as he is well connected with the force. Whereas Padme fell in love for different reasons. Padme was always stuck between responsibilities of being a queen and then senator. SHe never worried about her own happiness but rather worried about the hapiness of the people. When anakin came along he made her feel like a human with faults, Not queen amidala or senator amidala but like padme , just padme. Thats what made the bond between them so intense. ANd thats also why at the end when he chose the dark side it made it that much more painful to watch. SHe changed him. He only cared for her . Because she gave him the love that he ha dlost form his mother. ANakin was always different form other Jedi , he was better for one thing but he always wanted more and thats whatt padme defined to him. More. Padme.
I agree with you there Leia, the Aragorn/Arwen is way better than the Anakin/Padme story. However, if you want to get technical, you'll find the Aragorn/Arwen story kinda creepy. Just listen, Aragorn is Isildur's heir, who was Elendil's Son, who was related to the last king of Numenor, Ar-Pharazon, who was a direct descendant of Elros the first king of Numenor, who the twin Brother of Elrond whose daughter is Arwen, technically, and no matter how thin the bloodline gets on Aragorns side, Aragorn and Arwen are like cousins. Oh also Legolas's father is Thranduil, who is of kin to the late King Thingol, whose daughter was Luthien, who with Beren had a son, Dior, whose daughter was Elwing, who with Earendiel had Elrond and Elros. So Legolas is like both Aragorn's and Arwen's cousin or some relative.
