Sort of....

The guy who drove rogue to the bar at the beginning of the movie, the guy in the truck? He was the Voice of beast in the old animated series 😄 So technically beast was in the movie 😄 Well..his voice was anyway 😄

The only character that I can say will very likely be in the next film so far is Beast.

In my oppinion these characters may have a strong chance also.:

1. Blob
2. Gambit
3. Angel
4. Emma Frost

I didn't mention Colossus because he will obviously already have a role in X3.

Rogue and Gambit were able to touch on and off in the comics. who is chirstina millian???

maybe they will lay off Wolverine a bit since they are crying about screen time for the other characters and he has his own movie on the way anyway, lets hope.

gambit has been long over due to be in the films

thing is tho they left it wide open for him to star in x3 as when mystique is looking on the pc for where magneto is being held she hovers over gambits real name on the pc screen for a while smiles then goes to magnetos information

he was in x2 dr hank mccoy was on the tv screen when mystique was in the bar to implant the iron in the security guard

"Be Cool" which was released a little more than a week ago in theatres.

Millian....mmm.. I don't know. Wait.. No. Halle Berry, deserves to be storm and deserves a larger part. However what she doesn't get is this Xmen thing can go on for a while and Storm's time to shine is inevitable. If she does leave, I say, like I have been saying for sometime, Nona Gaye.

Although Christina milian is really really and i repeat, really hot, i don't think her replacing Halle as storm will do the movie any good. That's just as bad as Jessica Simpson playing Dazzler. 😐

They announced the director that will be taking over X-men 3 is Matthew Vaughn, director of Layer Cake who has that only film under his belt. He got really good reviews for that film and has been said to be a smart director. Also they have decided to work with the script that Zak Penn wrote all major cast has be signed on Hugh Jackman, Famke Janssen, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, and more are all coming back, Halle Berry isn't sure yet (Waiting on Script).

Ain't-It-Cool-News has confirmed that Layer Cake director Matthew Vaughn will direct X-Men 3 for 20th Century Fox. Bryan Singer directed the first two films of the franchise and is now shooting Superman.

The anticipated third film is expected to center on the Dark Phoenix saga. Both Simon Kinberg and Zak Penn wrote scripts, but the site says the studio will use Penn's draft for the movie.

In related news, while Hugh Jackman (who is also producing), Famke Janssen, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming and more are all coming back, Halle Berry still isn't sure. She tells XMenFilms.net:

I have not read the script. All I have asked, is that if I come back as Storm, she need to be closer to the comic book. So, if they have in fact written her closer to the comic book character, then I'm in. If not, I'm out. I hope I'm in though. I love Storm, and really want to be part of the last film.

Fox and Marvel Studios are eyeing a Memorial Day, 2006 release date for X-Men 3.
