Its based on one of Arnold Schwarzenegger's films, "Pumping Iron" (1977). Its a documentary film about Arnold's 6th run for the Mr. Olympia bodybuilding title. Arnold's main competition in the film was Lou whom is on the left of my sig. It was Lou Ferrigno's (70's Incredible Hulk actor) first project.

i know WHO it is... i'm asking WHY...
Fu*k storm, being more of a warrior-HELLO did she or did she not have fight scenes in both movies.Whereas rogue has been left on the sidelines to twiddle her thumbs,I what to see rogue become the warrior, not more of storm fighting.Halle has a cheek expecting more screen time(after her crappy performances in her last two movies) and claiming storm was short changed in x-2,so where rogue and cykes. And frankly I what more of them and not halle hogging the limelight,to try and resurrect her failing career.
Marvel Enterprises, Inc. just held their 4th Quarter Earnings Conference Call and some interesting items were covered by Marvel Studios' Avi Arad. X-Men 3 is now scheduled for May 22nd, 2006 (that's a Monday and he mentioned Memorial Day which is the following Monday - perhaps he meant May 26 instead?). The movie was previously set for the first weekend in May. He added that the story for the third film is better than the first two films and that Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart are back and that they're putting the video game into development early. From: Superherohype.com
So they changed the date of the movie's release not to far...also the story is said to be better than the first two. I hope that it is also we have the three major characters signed back on. To me it seems to be moving along okay.
According to a casting call picked up by a reader over at CHUD, 'X-Men 3' is looking for extras in the Austin, Texas area. While the significance of this news is still subject to question, it does lend credence to a past rumor that Austin-based film maniac Robert Rodriguez (Sin City) might land the next X-gig. The casting notice also makes note of the fact that actor Daniel Cudmore is still on board as the metal-skinned mutant Colossus, after his brief appearance in X2.
Wow I just saw the trailer for Sin City yesterday (amazing film) and if they nailed the director of that film...I think X-men 3 will be better. Also Daniel Cudmore is still on board so looks like he might have a bigger part in the film and they didn't opt to get another big-name to play Colossus.
