I heard that singer was gonna put Gambit in X3 as the featured character like Kurt was in X2.....with a new director..that idea might not happen...but Collusus (I know spelled wrong) will get a bigger role...I missed it the first time I saw X2...I had something in my eye and it took me 6 seconds to get it out...if only it would have taken me 4.
wow, I never noticed a Beast in X2.... Mainstream, I heard different, I thought Singer made it clear that he would not put Gambit in the movies because he looked too much like Cyclops, his personality too much like Wolverine's (god forbid anyone steal a little of the action from him!) and that he did not want to take the spot light off of the other characters (doesn't sound too fond of Gambit) the only reason Gambit has a chance of being in the next movie(s) is because there is a new director, a good thing after all in my opinion.

I read Singer interview in the lastest Wizard book...he was gonna make Gambit the featured Xman in X3..just like Nightcrawler was in X2. I think Gambit is like Wolverine because he's a loner..but he's more of a laddies man..would be pimp...Wolverine more of a dirty savage type.
