I did read your thread about Marvel's Pantheons. The average Amatsu-Kami based on the biography in your thread don't seem to be that strong and were even mentioned to be weaker than Asgardian gods.

Spoiler:
But I still expected Susanoo and Tsukiyomi to be extremely tough fights for the god squad. They might of been weakened since they were corrupted by Mikaboshi, but I don't think it's mentioned that they were weakened in the comic? In contrast in Chaos War we see Zeus, Ares and the other dead gods under Mikaboshi's power get amped not weakened.
Right^

It wasn't mention that they were weaker. Average or better (amp) is my guess.

Marvel is out of touch with Japanese culture and is strongly emphasizing the western gods hardcore.

After Chaos War he will invade the Greek Pantheon and fight a certain blacked out Skyfather

seems like hulk is going h2h with zeus in a few

Not that I know of.

Looking forward to Zeus zapping Hulk and vice versa smashing!

Covers and headliners can be misleading sometimes. They're often a device to grab people's attention to increase sales. Who doesn't want to read a Zeus (I'm assuming) and Hulk fight? But I bet you there's a catch.

What i don't get they say the greatest all-father of all time"instead of skyfather" which would make me think Odin. the picture makes it look like Zeus. However Zeus has been being treating like a whipping boy so far it would be nice if he stomped someone i mean he died 3 times in the past year

Meh. They just upping Hulk status, and I understand it degrades their own favorite characters.

True. The Amatsu-Kami are physically weaker than the Asgardians.Their flesh is only 2 times denser than human flesh. The only advantage that the Amatsu-Kami have over other Gods is Speed,Reflexes,Agility(Possibly?) and Magic(since they were Mikaboshi's Jailer).Zeus,Ares and Hera's amp had a purpose in Chaos War#3 which played out perfectly well for Amatsu-Mikaboshi(aka Chaos King) since he made a fool out of Hercules.

Spoiler:
I think Mikaboshi still viewed the Amatsu-Kamis a threat, even though he succeeded in enslaving them. After all, The Shinto Gods found a way to imprison him.And this might be the reason the enslaved Amatsu-Kamis are not amped and instead weakened(maybe?) in Chaos War:God Squad. So Mikaboshi sent the Amatsu-Kamis to be slaughtered by the God Squad.Either way, Mikaboshi still got what he wanted. One was to keep the God Squad busy by using the Shinto Gods. The other was nothing more than revenge against his Jailers.

According to the those articles on Newsrama there are a lot of changes coming for Hulk past CW#5.

Spoiler:

Pak: There are going to be some bombshells regarding the Hulk and everything we have seen building up, from Planet Hulk onwards, leads into what we see when the dust from Chaos War settles. Suffice to say that the Hulk and the Hulk family are not going to be the same at the end of this story. The Hulk that walks out of this is going to be on a whole different level to what we have seen before.

Van Lente: There is a major confrontation between Hulk and somebody you never expected coming up immediately after the last issue of Chaos War.

Pak: Right. This is big. You know, this is one of those ones that people ask for but you don't think you will ever see.

Nrama: People on our forums are also asking where are the rest of the Hulk family, since only Banner Hulk seems to be around after this.

Pak: People ask why are there so many damn Hulks now. Then they worry when they are gone!

Van Lente: How many are there now? Six? Seven?

Pak: Do you count A-Bomb? Anyway, the proliferation of Hulks is not random. There is a power, a force, a force that has existed since Mikaboshi was the void at the beginning of everything. We will see this in Chaos War. Alongside the Phoenix Force and other primal forces at the beginning of time there was a sort of Primal Hulk Force. That is what all Hulks share and we will see how it resulted in more Hulks appearing seemingly at random over time. Where does all the Hulk's near-limitless power come from? All that extra mass? Well, the Primal
Hulk Force kind of empowers Hulks, that's what is does and what it has done since the beginning - a spark of it here, a spark of it there. Its power is beyond men and beyond even the Gods of the Pantheons. It is a fundamental part of the universe. So what happens when there is no longer a Hulk family? All the power that was drawn down to earth in all those other Hulks has to go
somewhere - or to someone. And I don't care if you are Abomination, Thor, or Zeus himself, you don't want to be on the wrong side of the guy who ends up with it!

Van Lente: Greg - are you writing a comic or starting a religion here? [Laughs.]

Nrama: It sounds like complete crap.

WOW, so hulks strength comes from a primal force in this universe? i always knew it had infinit potential but i didnt know this.

so basically this is going to be hulk with nearly infinit strength vs Zeus?

😂 😂 😂 😂 😂

This is the biggest pile of steaming, fly infested BULLSHIT I've read in my ****ing life as a comic fan.

Phuck Greg Pak. Phuck Marvel for soliciting this level of bullshit mockery of writing. and PHUCK all the shitty green gamma irradiated (or is it 'hulk force' irradiated now?) characters that exist in comics today.

Can't wait for Pak to suffer some sort of ailment that will force his retirement and bring in the opportunity for another writer to come in and recton ALL this bullshit.

Ive always said Pak cant write for shit, thats why the gamma tards go crazy for him because of the shite like that.

I get physically ill looking at Pak.

you need psychiatric help. 🙁

If there is going to be a Hulk – Odin fight where Hulk somehow SMASHES I’m gonna drop Marvel comics for good.

That’s a promise

Pak is so unpredictable!

I can't wait until Hulk smashes Zeus/Herc/Odin!

bah! forget Odin, I'd say WWH is easily strong enough to take him.

current Hulk is probably going to make sense of Beyonder's remark.

Hulk Force >>>>>>>> pipsqueak patriarch of piddling planetary pantheon!

The link doesn't work, so I'm just hoping he didn't actually say that and you made it all up.

On closer examination, all that's changed in the links is the number "4" for "5", so it's definitley fake.

But this says something about Pak, if we can't distinguish him from a fanboy made interview.

Marvel really has made their characters so friggin powerful lately.
