Irrelevant either way. Ive expalined this to you. With new members joining all the time id have to be constantly debating and throeing up scans to have the fourm more or less agree with me somewhat. Im not prepared to do that. The people who have earned my utmost respect and that of others, the people who have been here at least as long as myself are those who all have had phoenix rise in terms of rank in their eyes and im proud of that. Not all of them believe exactly what i say but for all of them there has been a rise from their previous perceptions.

Now that i have made that clear a massive number of posters disagreeing with what ive said in the future is cool. Its expected because like i said posters join every month and have missed previous debates and are not going to witness a "campaign" from me in the future. I know that ive already succeeded in what i aimed to do and nothing and nobody can change that.

Look what happened today. One such member made a phoenix thread and was arguing away for the cause. When noobs post ignorance in the future those in the know can choose to set then straight or choose not to. Whatever thats not important its the fact that there are a decent number who actually know the real deal. I am content 😄

i think magneto beat the phoenix way way back in the original phoenix saga when magneto took the x-men to his base in antarctica after they were brainwashed by mesmero.

Indeed. After saving the multiverse from theM'kraan crystal Jean placed psychic circuit breakers on her power to limit it to levels appropriate for day to day use on Earth. The limits she placed on her power rendered her nothing more than a powerful mutant and so in a battle with Magneto she reached her self imposed limit and he defeated her. 🙂

Subsequent issues later her circuit breakers started breaking down and she slowly transformed into dark phoenix.

Magneto beating Phoenix in their last meeting was a sucker punch action.

They find the Phoenix egg on the blue area of the moon. The same place Jean in her Dark Phoenix form killed herself. Wasnt that a nice touch. Almost as if the writer wanted to emphasise this death/birth cycle Jean constantly goes through as phoenix:
